This invention relates to a packaging and distribution assembly (10) for a fluid product, of the type comprising: a storage member (22), comprising a tubular reservoir (40) able to receive a first fluid composition; a closed chamber (130) in communication with the tubular reservoir; and a pressurization member (24), able to move axially in such a way as to decrease a volume of said closed chamber. The closed chamber is sealed from the air in a deployed configuration of the storage and pressurization members, corresponding to a maximum volume of the closed chamber. The storage member (22) and the pressurization member (24) comprise means (76) for breaking the seal of the closed chamber in a compact configuration of said storage and pressurization members, said compact configuration corresponding to a minimum volume of the closed chamber.

A dispensing system (2000), includes a container (900) containing a flowable base formulation (910) to be dispensed, an additive mixing device (2004), and an actuable pump engine (2002) which draws the flowable base formulation from the container and pumps it through the mixing device. The additive mixing device includes a body (2022) with an internal cavity (2052), an additive ingredient (2054) within the cavity, and a flow path/mixing chamber (2058) between an input and an output. With each pump of the device (2004) the additive ingredient is introduced into, and mixed with, a flow of the base formulation traveling through the mixing device. Multiple additive mixing devices (2004) may be interchangeable for different formulations, and the mixing devices may be refillable.

The system includes a mobile user device configured to perform communication with the dispensing assembly to receive information related to the data stored on the electronic communication and storage device and to transmit a command to cause the dispensing assembly to dispense the specified amount of the cosmetic material. The electronic communication and storage device stores data regarding (i) a production process of the at least one cartridge that is created prior to the at least one cartridge initially being inserted into the dispensing device, and (ii) a usage of the at least one cartridge after the at least one cartridge is inserted into the dispensing device.

A system is provided that includes a mobile user device executes an application that receives a selection of a target color of lipstick from a user, and determines and transmit a recipe for generating the target color of the lipstick that is based on a combination of a plurality of separate lipstick ingredients. The system includes a dispensing device configured to receive the transmitted recipe from the mobile user device and dispense each of the plurality of separate lipstick ingredients onto a common dispensing surface such that when the dispensed amounts of each of the plurality of separate lipstick ingredients is blended on the dispensing surface, the target color of the lipstick is achieved. The mobile user device is configured to present at least one candidate color of lipstick to the user that is based on at least a user profile of the user of the smartphone.
CLEANING SYSTEM FOR COSMETIC DISPENSING DEVICE
An apparatus is provide for dispensing cosmetic material, including a dispensing device configured to receive at least one cartridge that contains a cosmetic material and to dispense a specified amount of the cosmetic material from the cartridge onto a dispensing surface. The dispensing surface is configured to be part of a detachable portion of the apparatus. The dispensing device further includes a retractable plate disposed beneath the detachable portion, wherein a dispensing end of the at least one cartridge is configured to penetrate the retractable plate and the detachable portion, such that (i) when the retractable plate is at a stable highest position, the dispensing end of the at least one cartridge is flush with the surface of the retractable plate, (ii) when the retractable plate is moved to a predetermined stable downward position below the highest position, and the detachable portion is placed on the retractable surface, the dispensing end of the at least one cartridge is flush with the dispensing surface and the retractable plate is configured to move even further downward to an unstable position in response to a downward force on the detachable portion.

A system is provided that includes a mobile user device that executes an application that determines a skintone of a user, and determines and transmits a recipe for generating a target foundation that is based on a combination of a plurality of separate foundation ingredients that are associated with the skintone of the user. The system includes a dispensing device configured to receive the transmitted recipe from the mobile user device and dispense each of the plurality of separate foundation ingredients onto a common dispensing surface such that when the dispensed amounts of each of the plurality of separate foundation ingredients is blended on the dispensing surface, the target foundation is achieved. The mobile user device is configured to determine a skintone of the user based on features in a detected face of the user in a self-taken image of the user that is captured by a camera of the mobile user device.
