An applicator for applying an eye-liner, extending along a straight longitudinal axis, including: an application member, in particular an applicator tip, a support carrying the application member, extending along an exposed length along the longitudinal axis of the applicator, a handle defining a gripping surface allowing the user to hold the applicator when applying the product, the handle having at least one cross-section, considered perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the applicator, with a substantially triangular general shape, the handle extending along a length along the longitudinal axis of the applicator, the ratio of the length of the handle to the exposed length of the support being greater than 2, preferably between 2 and 7, and more preferably between 3 and 6, the handle having at least two cross-sections, separate from each other, with a substantially triangular general shape, the two cross-sections being angularly offset relative to each other.

The subject of the invention is a cosmetic applicator, in particular for the eyelashes or the contour of the eyes, comprising: a gripping member, an applicator element, a stem connecting the gripping member and the applicator element, the axis of the stem extending in all three dimensions of space.

A plurality of support pieces disposed at a supporting part support a plurality of rod-shaped cosmetic materials arranged side by side in a container. The plurality of rod-shaped cosmetic materials are configured to simultaneously advance and retreat in an axial direction together with the supporting part and the plurality of rod-shaped cosmetic materials are configured to appear and disappear from a leading tube. The plurality of rod-shaped cosmetic materials are individually supported by the one shared support piece.

A rotary feeding mechanism for axially feeding a rod-shaped body from a main body by rotating a tapered tip has a simple structure and can be produced economically. The main body is provided with plural open windows are arranged at a predetermined thread pitch along an axial direction of the main body. The tapered tip is installed rotatably on the main body, and a guide pipe extending toward the inside of the main body is fixed to the tapered tip. A holder for holding the rod-shaped body is housed in the main body, and the holder and the guide pipe are connected non-rotatably and movably in the axial direction. The outer periphery of the holder has an external thread which engages with the windows so that when the tapered tip is rotated, the holder moves in the axial direction while rotating via the guide pipe, and the rod-shaped body can be projected from or retracted into the main body.

A pencil shaped compact cosmetics container assembly has a pressed powder stored in a cylindrical segment having a cover that opens along a length rather than at an end such that the powder is visible to a user loading a brush with the powder before applying as a cosmetic, such as eyeshadow. Another section of the assembly holds a brush that is stored under the cover, the another section serving to lock the cover in a closed position.

Systems, devices, and methods for a cosmetic sponge having: a tip portion at one end of the cosmetic sponge; an angled portion, where the tip portion is surrounded by the angled portion; a bulbous portion, where the bulbous portion is disposed proximate a bottom of the cosmetic sponge; and a bottom portion, where the bottom portion is surrounded by the bulbous portion; and a thermochromic pigment in at least a portion of the cosmetic sponge, where the portion of the cosmetic sponge changes from a first color at a first temperature to a second color at a second temperature.

A cosmetic application device includes an application member and a positioning support system therefore which provides improved accuracy and side-to-side repeatability for the application of a cosmetic. The application member is optionally adjustable and repositionable relative to the positioning support system and may be further optionally provided in a kit form with one or more colorant members, guide members or replacement application members. A method for using the proposed invention is provided.

A cosmetic composition in a form of an aqueous gel may include (percentages by weight referred to weight of the cosmetic composition): greater than or equal to 5% and less than or equal to 30% of at least one inorganic pigment; greater than or equal to 10% and less than or equal to 50% of at least one film-forming agent including at least one acrylic copolymer comprising two or more monomers selected from: acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, C.sub.1-C.sub.8 alkyl acrylate, or C.sub.1-C.sub.8 alkyl methacrylate; greater than or equal to 0.05% and less than or equal to 3% of at least one thickening agent; greater than or equal to 0.1% and less than or equal to 5% of at least one surfactant; greater than or equal to 1% and less than or equal to 20% of at least one C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkanol; and water equal to the complement to 100%.

Kit (10) for producing an assembly for packaging and applying a product, notably a cosmetic product, comprising, for the one part, at least one container (20) delimiting at least one internal volume (22) which contains said product and at least one free edge of which defines an opening (28) for accessing the internal volume, said opening being closed off by a temporary closure member (29) that does not have an applicator member, and, for the other part, at least one device (30) for applying said product that is able to be inserted at least partially into said internal volume (22) and comprises at least one applicator member (32), a stem (34) bearing said applicator member (32), a gripping member (36) secured to said stem (34) and a wiping member (38) mounted around said stem and fixed removably thereto. The gripping member (36) forms a cap configured to replace the temporary closure member (29) so as to form an assembly for packaging and applying the cosmetic product, said gripping member (36) being able to close the opening (28) of said container (20) in a removable manner, the applicator member (32) being situated inside the container (20) when the gripping member closes said opening (28).
