The invention relates to a joint mechanism (12) of an application device (10) of cosmetic product. The joint mechanism (12) comprises a first part (22) having a rib and a second part (24) carrying a bracket receiving the rib. Said first part (22) is mobile in rotation with respect to said second part (24) about an axis.

One among the first part (22) and the second part (24) comprises at least one protruding pin, and the other among the first part (22) and the second part (24) defines a path for guiding the pin. The pin is inserted into the path for guiding, with the pin and the path for guiding being off-centered with respect to the axis.

When a lid storing an impregnation body impregnated with a liquid cosmetic material is attached to a container body holding a thick applicator at a front end thereof, a slope of a front end face of the thick applicator is stuck into the impregnation body to thereby easily intrude thereinto. Accordingly, an appropriate amount of the liquid cosmetic material impregnated into the impregnation body can be held and a thick line can be drawn by the thick applicator storing the liquid cosmetic material. Cosmetic applicator comprising an application member having a base fixed to a support, this base extending along a longitudinal axis of the support, and an applicator part connected to the base, the applicator comprising a constraint element (30) attached to the application member and at least partially in contact with the latter, the constraint element (30) constraining the application member in such a way that the applicator part extends at least partially obliquely with respect to the axis of the support.

The present application provides a porous sintered multicomponent applicator nib and methods of making and using these nibs. The porous nibs are made from sintered plastic particles. These nibs are used with liquid applicators devices, medical devices, writing tools or cosmetic applicators to apply liquids containing high solids or pigments to surfaces such as metal, paper, skin, hair, tissue or a wound.
