METHOD FOR COLLECTING HARD OLEFIN

The present invention relates to a method for recovering light olefins, which can achieve an increase in propylene production and a reduction in the basic unit of a process by feeding steam into five serially connected dehydrogenation reactors, and can diversify the product of a propane dehydrogenation reaction process from a propylene single product into propylene and ethylene by separately collecting ethane and ethylene, i.e., by-products of the propylene production process, and converting the ethane into ethylene, thereby improving the economic efficiency of the process and selectivity.

Process for Producing Hydrogen and Light Olefins From Resid Fluid Catalytic Cracking

The present invention relates to a process for production of high yield of hydrogen by carrying out the dry reforming of the dry gas generated from the process itself by utilizing the same catalyst for cracking and producing high yield of light olefins such as ethylene, propylene and butylenes from residue feedstocks.

Catalytic Decomposition of Hydrocarbons for the Production of Hydrogen and Carbon
20210122629 · 2021-04-29 ·

A new process for the decomposition of hydrocarbon feed stream(s) that achieves the conversion of a hydrocarbon feed stream to hydrogen and filamentous carbon, with minimal resulting production of carbon oxides is described herein. In this invention it is proposed to achieve the hydrocarbon conversion by the use of dual fluidized bed reaction zones, fluidly connected, for (i). hydrocarbon reaction (the reactor) and (ii). catalyst regeneration and heating (the regenerator) and to use a transition metal supported catalyst to achieve high hydrocarbon conversion and to produce high quality filamentous carbon.

ATR based ammonia process and plant

A process for producing an ammonia synthesis gas, said process including the steps of: reforming a hydrocarbon feed in a reforming step thereby obtaining a synthesis gas comprising CH.sub.4, CO, CO.sub.2, H.sub.2 and H.sub.2O; and shifting said synthesis gas in a high temperature shift step over a promoted zinc-aluminum oxide based high temperature shift catalyst, wherein the steam/carbon ratio in the reforming step is less than 2.6.

A METHOD FOR GENERATING SYNGAS FOR USE IN HYDROFORMYLATION PLANTS

A method for the generation of syngas for use in hydroformylation plants comprises the steps of evaporating water to steam, mixing the steam with carbon dioxide in any desired molar ratio and feeding the resulting gas to a solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) or an SOEC stack at around 700 C. while supplying an electrical current to the cell or cell stack to convert the feed gas to syngas. An advantage is that the syngas can be generated on the site where it is intended to be used.

OXYCOMBUSTION WITH CO2 CAPTURE IN REVERSE FLOW REACTORS

Systems and methods are provided for using oxycombustion to provide heat within a reverse flow reactor environment. The oxygen for the oxycombustion can be provided by oxygen stored in an oxygen storage component in the reactor. By using an oxygen storage component to provide the oxygen for combustion during the regeneration step, heat can be added to a reverse flow reactor while reducing or minimizing addition of diluents and while avoiding the need for an air separation unit. As a result, a regeneration flue gas can be formed that is substantially composed of CO.sub.2 and/or H.sub.2O without requiring the additional cost of creating a substantially pure oxygen-containing gas flow.
