Multi-purpose healthcare apparatus
The present invention provides an interchangeable multi-purpose healthcare apparatus comprising silicate-based ceramic materials containing tourmaline, said apparatus comprising a cylindrical bottle body (101) and different functional heads for different purposes. A top open end of said cylindrical bottle body is configured with a screw-type bottleneck (103) for connecting different functional heads according to different needs of the user. The present apparatus takes advantages of the far infrared ray, microcurrent and negative ions matching human bioelectricity which are emitted and transmitted by the silicate-based ceramic materials containing tourmaline, in association with the addition of liquids of different temperatures as massage medium, to allow suitable temperature adjustment of the user. Massage medium being functionalized by the tourmaline-containing ceramics can also be beneficial to human body. In combination with different functional heads and auxiliary materials, the present apparatus becomes a personalized and specialized apparatus for massage and auxiliary health care.
Multi-function actuator for adjusting two or more hair appliance variables
Exemplary embodiments of hair styling appliances having a multi-function actuator are provided herein. In general, the disclosed embodiments of hair styling appliances may include a multi-function actuator configured for adjusting settings of one or more hair appliance variables. In one embodiment, the multi-function actuator may include at least two separate actuators, which are assembled together on the hair styling appliance to look like one component, yet are configured to be actuated independently of one another. In one embodiment, the multi-function actuator may be ergonomically positioned on the hair styling appliance for easily accessible manipulation and actuation with the user's thumb. In one embodiment, the multi-function actuator may comprise a push button and dial combination. In one embodiment, the push button may be used to select temperature and/or time, and the dial may be used to adjust the temperature and/or time to a desired setting.
LAVA ROCK CONTAINING HAIR STYLING DEVICES
Hairstyling devices include one or more heat transmissive elements having a coating disposed thereon, the coating having ceramic and lava rock incorporated therein. The use of lava rock-containing coatings as described herein results in hairstyling devices with heat transmissive elements exhibiting enhanced heat retention, faster heat recovery, and increased ion emission. Furthermore, lava rock-containing coatings have been found more durable than equivalent heat transmissive element coatings that do not have lava rock incorporated therein.
AUDIO CONTROLLED COSMETIC DEVICE
A hair drying device is provided. The hair drying device includes a housing having an air inlet and an air outlet, a power component, a heating element coupled to the power component, an audio component configured to receive audio input and convert the audio input into audio data, a controller in communication with the heating element and the audio component, and a memory configured to store instructions executable by the controller. The instructions, when executed by the controller, are operable to receive the audio data from the audio component, determine that the audio data corresponds to a style setting, and adjust the energy provided by the power component to increase or decrease the heat emitted by the heating element based on the style setting.
Discharge device and hair care device
A discharge device includes a discharge electrode, a counter electrode that faces the discharge electrode in a first direction, and voltage application unit that applies an application voltage between the discharge electrode and the counter electrode. The counter electrode includes a dome-shaped electrode having a recessed inner surface recessed to a side opposite to the discharge electrode in the first direction, and a protruding electrode that protrudes in a second direction intersecting the first direction from an opening edge of an opening of the dome-shaped electrode, the opening being provided at an end opposite to the discharge electrode. The discharge device forms a discharge path having at least partial dielectric breakdown between the discharge electrode and the protruding electrode, when the discharge occurs. The discharge path includes a first dielectric breakdown region generated around the discharge electrode and a second dielectric breakdown region generated around the protruding electrode.
Devices and methods for electrostatic application of cosmetics
Devices and methods for electrostatic application of cosmetics are described. In one embodiment, a system for electrostatic deposition of cosmetic material on a surface includes: a housing; a nozzle configured for breaking the cosmetic material into cosmetic particles and for directing the cosmetic particles out of the housing and toward the surface; and a reservoir configured for holding the cosmetic material. The reservoir is connected to the nozzle. The system also includes an airflow conduit configured to provide air to the nozzle; and a nozzle electrode configured proximately to the nozzle. The nozzle electrode is configured to charge the cosmetic particles.
SKIN TREATMENT DEVICE COMPRISING A PULSE MODULATOR
The invention relates to a device for the cosmetic treatment of keratin materials with the aid of an electric current, comprising at least one generator (1) which produces an elementary signal formed by a high-frequency signal which is amplitude-modulated by a medium-frequency signal and at least one electrode (5) connected to an output of the generator (1) and which can be moved over a body area to be treated and a counterelectrode (6), the generator (1) comprising an elementary signal processing unit comprising a pulse modulator (4) which delivers a low pulse-frequency current wave.
Hair dryer with ion emitter
A hair dryer includes a housing having a main air inlet, a main air outlet and a main interior volume between the main air inlet and the main air outlet. The housing has an auxiliary air inlet, an auxiliary air outlet, and an auxiliary interior volume between the auxiliary air inlet and the auxiliary air outlet. The auxiliary air inlet, the auxiliary air outlet and the auxiliary interior volume each are outside of the main interior volume so that the auxiliary air inlet and the auxiliary air outlet are not in communication with the main air inlet and the main air outlet. A first pair of ion emitters are in the main interior volume. A second pair of ion emitters are in the auxiliary interior volume. A fan is upstream of the first pair of ion emitters in the main interior volume, and selectively generates a main airflow through the housing from the main air inlet to the main air outlet. A heater is in the main interior downstream of the fan and upstream of the main air outlet relative to the main airflow.
