Skin treatment personal care device and method of manufacture
A skin treatment personal care with a handle having a gripping portion at one end and a head portion at an opposing end. The head portion includes a heat dissipating housing having a top surface and defines a pocket. The heat dissipating housing is made of a material having a thermal diffusivity greater than 10 W/m K. A light emitting diode adapted to provide one or more skin benefits is positioned within in the pocket. A window forms a water tight seal covering the LED.
LIGHT-CURABLE ARTIFICIAL NAILS, METHODS OF PREPARATION AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A light-curable artificial nail is disclosed having an adhesive section including a light-curable composition in a semi-cured state. The light-curable composition is configured to transition from the semi-cured state to a cured state based on exposure to at least one wavelength of electromagnetic radiation. The light-curable artificial nail includes a strengthening section disposed above the adhesive section and a polish section disposed above the adhesive section.
FORMULATION AND DEVICE FOR COSMETIC TREATMENT OF ONYCHOMYCOSIS
A method of treating a fungal infection of the nails is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the treatment method comprises applying a formulation directly to a nail, wherein the formulation comprises bleaching and moisturizing agents to improve cosmetic appearance of the nail. In another embodiment, the treatment method comprises a formulation applied directly to a nail, wherein the formulation is subsequently exposed to a light source to improve efficacy of the formulation applied to the nail.
Hair dryer
A portable hand held hair dryer has a heating element has a longitudinally extending heating element and a plurality of fins that are press fitted onto the heating element whereby a collar of the fins is deformed to secure the heating member in the fins.
Fluid product dispensing and application assembly
A fluid dispenser and applicator assembly comprising: a hollow reception body (1′) including a housing (22′); and a fluid dispenser (D′) including angular orientation means (16, 64) for bringing the fluid dispenser (D′) into a determined angular position relative to the reception body (1′); the assembly being characterized in that the angular orientation means (16, 64) cause the dispenser (D′) to turn as it is pushed into the reception body (1′), until it reaches its determined angular position.
COSMETIC-PRODUCT PACKAGING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
There is disclosed is a cosmetic-product packaging. The cosmetic-product packaging includes an outer container, an inner container and a lid. The lid is pivotally coupled to the outer container. The outer container and the lid are provided with at least one lid projecting tab and at least one container projecting tab, such that a distal end of the lid projecting tab clips onto a distal end of the container projecting tab to secure the lid in a closed position to the outer container. The inner container is mountable within outer container. Furthermore, the inner container, in operation, accommodates a cosmetic product. The inner container is user-accessible when the lid is in open position, i.e. the distal ends of projecting tabs are spatially mutually separated, for accessing the cosmetic product. The inner container comprises customizable holding tabs and a planar side panel of the outer container is reflective.
Formula delivery head
A formula delivery appliance generally includes a formula delivery head having features to mix, direct, and distribute formulation through nozzles to a desired location, such as the hair or scalp of a user. In this regard, the formula delivery head may include a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge the formulation at a desired flow rate. In some instances, the flow rate across the plurality of nozzles is controlled such that each nozzle has a flow rate within a specified percentage of the average flow rate across the plurality of nozzles.
Artificial nail tip and curing composition set and applying method thereof
A nail tip curing composition includes an Extend Gel, an edge-off flat brush, a nail filing device, a plurality of GEL-X tips, a pH Bonder, and a Non-Acidic Gel Primer. The pH Bonder forms a pH Bonder layer on a surface of a fingernail. The Non-Acidic Gel Primer forms a Non-Acidic Gel Prime layer overlapped on the pH Bonder layer. The Extend Gel forms an Extend Gel layer overlapped on the Non-Acidic Gel Prime layer. The GEL-X tip is filed by the nail filing device and the Extend Gel is applied on an underside contact surface of the Gel-X tip by the edge-off flat brush. The underside contact surface of the Gel-X tip is contacted with the Extend Gel layer on the fingernail in such a manner that the Gel-X tip is firmly affixed on the fingernail.
Miniature, multiple angle accessible, ultraviolet nail gel curing lamp and method of use
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a miniature, multiple-angle accessible nail gel curing lamp that minimizes the size of a light exposure area, while at the same time providing access to the light exposure area for a customer's hand, and both of technician's hands. This lamp is particularly useful for performing the “gel-press on” technique of applying artificial nails with a UV-curable nail gel. Some embodiments include a base, a riser extending generally upward from the base, and a lamp head extending generally horizontally from the riser, where the lamp head is operatively connectable to a power source and comprises an ultraviolet light emitting diode (“UV LED”) configured to direct light emitted by the UV LED generally toward the base, thereby defining a light exposure area extending from the UV LED downward toward the base, and where an arc of access to the light exposure area is defined as an arc in a plane generally parallel to the UV LED and centered on the UV LED, so that the base, the riser and the lamp head are configured to allow unimpeded access of a user's hand to the light exposure area throughout the arc of access and where the arc of access is at least 180 degrees, and in some instances, at least 270 degrees.
