METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SELECTIVE HAIR BRIGHTENING
A system, computer readable medium and method for selective brightening of hair, the method may include or may be preceded by applying at least one photosensitive material to the hair. The method may also include forming at least one pattern of brightened hair by illuminating the hair by at least one pattern of illumination.
Nail lamp with rechargeable battery pack and exterior lighting
A nail lamp has a removable, rechargeable battery pack and a translucent shell formed by double-injection molding. The lamp is portable can be operated cordlessly using the battery pack. The translucent shell glows when the lamp's treatment chamber is on. Surface-mounted light emitting diodes (LEDs) illuminate the treatment chamber with multiple wavelengths ultraviolet (UV) light. The battery pack has a USB port which allows a customer to conveniently charge a device (e.g., smartphone) while the customer's nails are being worked on. The battery pack has a battery gauge, which indicates a charge level remaining for the battery. When the battery pack is low on charge, the battery pack can be swapped with a charged battery pack. A battery pack can be charged while inserted in the lamp or removed from the lamp. The LEDs of the nail lamp are passively cooled.
CORDLESS NAIL GEL CURING LAMP WITH INTERCHANGABLE SURFACE FEATURES
The present inventive subject matter relates to a portable electronic device housing having an opening for receiving a hand or foot wherein the housing has interior positioned LEDs for emitting light onto the nails of the hand or foot to cure nail care preparations applied thereto. The device includes removably attachable top and bottom trim to which can be substituted with different top and bottom trim for different visual appearances. In addition, the disclosed device includes a slidably attached base plate that is movable to a first position for curing of fingernails of the hand and is movable to a second position for curing of toenails of the foot. The base plate includes protrusions for a tactile indicator to a user of proper positioning of a hand.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING HEAT IN A BATTERY POWERED BLOW DRYER
A battery powered blow dryer having a novel heating element technology that can be powered by an attached battery pack. The heating element includes an infrared light bulb that emits high heat with relatively low power consumption compared to current methods. The present invention patent also describes a unique configuration of battery cells to optimally perform the task of blow drying hair.
Nail lamp
A nail lamp is configured to cure light-curable nail product on a user's nail. The lamp includes a base and a support with discrete light sources that each may emit with the same or different light wavelength profiles, and each may emit continuously or with the same or different pulsing functions. The lamp also includes source reflectors and a ring reflector. The different wavelength profiles are configured to, in combination, cure a light-curable nail product. The pulsing function is used to cure the nail product more efficiently. The source reflectors and ring reflector are used to target specific areas of the nail. A space is disposed between the base and the support and is sized to accommodate therein the nails of an appendage of a user so as to expose the user's nails to light from the discrete light sources.
HAIR-DRYING HOOD AND HAIR TREATMENT DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A hair treatment device can be used with a blower for drying and styling hair. The hair treatment device includes a hair-drying hood for covering the head of a user, which has an opening at a top portion or a side portion thereof. The blower can be inserted from the opening. The hair-drying hood further includes an outer layer, where the opening is disposed, and a thermal layer, which forms an air flow guiding chamber together with the outer layer inbetween for introducing and dispersing hot air from the blower all over the hair-drying hood while raising a temperature of the thermal layer. The hair treatment device further includes a position retainer having a first end fixing the blower, and having a second end is stably fixed onto an object.
Photo-activatable formulation applicator
An applicator device includes a formulation assembly with a dispenser portion and one or more formulation reservoirs, the formulation assembly being operable to dispense a formulation from the one or more formulation reservoirs onto one or more regions of a biological surface. The applicator device also includes a photo-dose assembly operably coupled to the formulation assembly, the photo-dose assembly having at least one illuminator oriented to focus electromagnetic energy onto one or more focal regions of a biological surface.
APPARATUS FOR COSMETIC PUFFS AND COSMETIC CASE THEREOF
Disclosed herein is a cosmetic puff apparatus having sterilization and massage functions. A cosmetic puff apparatus according an embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing having an opening formed at a lower portion and an LED module disposed inside the housing to emit ultraviolet or infrared rays downwardly; a cover part of a silicon material covering the opening and having a downward arc shape; a puff base detachably coupled under the cover part; an operation control unit for operating and controlling the LED module to emit ultraviolet or infrared rays by user's selection; and a vibration module provided on an underneath surface of the LED module to vibrate the cover part.
Miniature, multiple angle accessible, ultraviolet nail gel curing lamp and method of use
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a miniature, multiple-angle accessible nail gel curing lamp that minimizes the size of a light exposure area, while at the same time providing access to the light exposure area for a customer's hand, and both of technician's hands. This lamp is particularly useful for performing the gel-press on technique of applying artificial nails with a UV-curable nail gel. Some embodiments include a base, a riser extending generally upward from the base, and a lamp head extending generally horizontally from the riser, where the lamp head is operatively connectable to a power source and comprises an ultraviolet light emitting diode (UV LED) configured to direct light emitted by the UV LED generally toward the base, thereby defining a light exposure area extending from the UV LED downward toward the base, and where an arc of access to the light exposure area is defined as an arc in a plane generally parallel to the UV LED and centered on the UV LED, so that the base, the riser and the lamp head are configured to allow unimpeded access of a user's hand to the light exposure area throughout the arc of access and where the arc of access is at least 180 degrees, and in some instances, at least 270 degrees.
