The present invention is a hairstyling tool capable of emitting fragrance and/or lights. As non-limiting embodiments, the hairstyling tool may be a hair pick, a comb, or a brush that includes a first end, a second end, a front side, a rear side, at least one edge or sidewall, a first or handle section, and a second or hairstyling section. In addition, the hairstyling tool further includes some, many, most or all of the following fragrance-related components, lights-related components, or their equivalents: a charging port, a power source, a fragrance activator or initiator, a fragrance pump line, a fragrance source or element, a light source, a nozzle or outlet, an activation member, a power source wire(s), and a power wire(s) for lights.

The applicator array device may include a plurality of applicator elements disposed on the substrate, together defining an applicator array. Apparatuses and methods for drying an object are provided. An apparatus for drying an object may include a first airflow channel that has an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet. The apparatus may also include one or more radiation energy sources configured to provide thermal radiation toward the object. The apparatus may also include an airflow generating element configured to provide an airflow by effecting the airflow into the first airflow channel through the airflow inlet and direct a first portion of the airflow in the first airflow channel toward the airflow outlet. The apparatus may further include an airflow guide assembly configured to provide a second airflow channel through which a second portion of the airflow in the first airflow channel is guided to a target region. The target region abuts at least one of the one or more radiation energy sources.

A hair dryer has a primary air flow path and a secondary air flow path. The primary air flow path is operable to dry hair using suction in a first mode of operation. The secondary air flow path is operable to blow dry hair in a second mode of operation. In the primary mode of operation, the motor and fan assembly of the secondary air flow path is operated in reverse to direct air towards hair that is being dried by suction.

An infrared hairdryer of the present disclosure includes a housing with an air inlet and an air outlet. The housing includes a motorized fan, an infrared radiation source for emitting IR radiant heat, and a back reflector positioned between the fan and the infrared emitter. A filter is positioned at the outlet of the hairdryer, allowing IR wavelengths comprised between 1.2 μm and 15 μm, preferably between 2 and 8 μm to leave the hairdryer and stopping the IR wavelengths out of this range. The infrared source has a thermal inertia allowing the infrared source to reach a temperature up to 1000° C. in less than 10 seconds, preferably in less than 5 seconds.
