Methods and systems for producing ammonia and for long-term depositing of carbon dioxide are disclosed, wherein off-site produced cold carbon dioxide received at the plant from a road vehicle, railway car, or vessel is used for cooling locally produced ammonia from a local ammonia production plant, such as a blue ammonia production plant.

A process and a device for preparing ultra-clean high-purify ammonia water are provided. The ultra-pure high-purity ammonia water is obtained by heating and gasifying, pressurizing to remove impurities, washing with ultrapure water to remove impurities, purifying with a molecular sieve adsorption column, absorbing with ultrapure water and filtering with an ultrafiltration membrane. The obtained ultra-pure high-purity ammonia water has high product quality and simple process. The obtained ultra-pure high-purity ammonia water has lower contents of metals and particles, the process is safe and reliable, and has low energy consumption. The process has no waste discharge, and is environmentally friendly and practical.

Systems and methods for purification of ammonia from an ammonia liquid feed stream, particularly ammonia recovered from a 2-column SWS unit, by vaporizing the ammonia liquid feed stream to produce a very cold (potentially subzero) ammonia vapor stream and passing the cooled ammonia vapor stream through an adsorption media such as activated to remove impurities from the cooled ammonia vapor stream and produce a purified ammonia vapor stream.
