THERMALLY DRIVEN NITROGEN AND AMMONIA PRODUCTION
The present disclosure is directed to renewable pathways to nitrogen production and ammonia (NH.sub.3) synthesis that utilize renewable heat as process heat instead of fossil fuels and operates at low to medium pressures (from 0.2-3 MPa). The renewable pathways result in both a decrease or elimination of greenhouse gas emissions as well as avoid the cost, complexity and safety issues inherent in high-pressure processes. Renewable thermochemical looping technology is used that produces nitrogen from air for the subsequent production of ammonia via an advanced two-stage process.
Process for the production of ammonia from air and water
The present disclosure relates to a simple one-pot process for the production of ammonia. The process involves electrolysis of air and water using a molten or concentrated aqueous hydroxide electrolyte in the presence of an iron catalyst. The process exhibits one or more of the following benefits: (i) it is an efficient, cost-effective low-energy process, (ii) it eliminates carbon dioxide (CO2) evolution, (iii) it eliminates the need for a separator, and (iv) it bypasses the need for a preliminary hydrogenation step.
AMMONIA PRODUCTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AMMONIA PRODUCTION
The present invention concerns an ammonia production method comprising the steps of: providing at least one rare earth nitride material or layer in a chamber; creating a vacuum or an inert atmosphere in the chamber; and providing hydrogen H.sub.2 to react with nitrogen N released at an external surface of the at least one rare earth nitride material or layer to produce ammonia.
Process for recovering ammonia from vanadium preparation for ammonium preparation and recycling wastewater
The present invention discloses a process for recovering ammonia from vanadium preparation for ammonium preparation and recycling wastewater. A conventional vanadium extraction process is complex, and the most difficult to control and treat are ammonia emissions and wastewater treatment. The present process can directly extract ammonium metavanadate and ammonium polyvanadate from the beginning of mining and smelting, and gather all emitted ammonia to prepare ammonium in the process of preparing high-purity vanadium pentoxide by using the ammonium metavanadate or the ammonium polyvanadate, thereby ensuring zero emission of the exhaust gas, and effectively treat all wastewater generated in the above process by using a polyacid ester flocculation technology, thereby ensuring that the wastewater is not discharged but recycled, and realizing that the purity of all products reaches 99.5-99.99%.
ENHANCED HYDROPROCESSING PROCESS WITH AMMONIA AND CARBON DIOXIDE RECOVERY
A process for capturing carbon dioxide includes the steps of mixing a hydrogen stream and a feedstock stream to produce a mixed stream, wherein the feedstock stream includes hydrocarbons, reacting the hydrocarbons and the hydrogen in the primary reactor of the hydroprocessing unit to produce a hydroprocessing product stream and a carbon dioxide stream, wherein the hydroprocessing product stream includes light products, wherein the hydroprocessing unit is further configured to produce ammonium bisulfide, collecting the ammonium bisulfide in the water to produce a sour water, processing the sour water in the waste water unit to produce an ammonia stream, a hydrogen sulfide stream, and a stripped water stream, introducing the ammonia stream to a carbon dioxide recovery system, and separating carbon dioxide from the carbon dioxide stream using the ammonia in the ammonia stream to produce a carbon dioxide product.
INTRINSIC CO2 CAPTURE PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF METAL OXIDES, CEMENT, CO2 AIR CAPTURE OR A COMBINATION THEREOF
The present invention pertains to a process for producing captured carbon dioxide. Calcium carbonate may be reacted with sulfur dioxide to produce calcium sulfite and gaseous carbon dioxide. Calcium sulfite may be thermally decomposed to produce gaseous sulfur dioxide. The processes may be used in conjunction with combusting various fuels such as a carbonaceous fuel, or a sulfurous fuel, or a nitrogenous fuel, or a hydrogen fuel, or a combination thereof.
Systems and Methods for Net Carbon Negative and More Profitable Chemical Production
The present invention pertains to processes of, for example, preparing zinc oxide and other substances. In one embodiment an exemplary process pertains to reacting ammonium chloride with zinc oxide to form a zinc chloride, gaseous ammonia, and gaseous water vapor. The zinc chloride may be reacted with sulfuric acid to form a zinc sulfate and hydrochloric acid. The zinc sulfate may be decomposed to produce zinc oxide among other substances.
A METHOD FOR PRODUCING A NANOSTRUCTURED COMPLEX (CFI-1), A PROTEIN-ASSOCIATED NANOSTRUCTURED COMPLEX (MRB-CFI-1) AND USE
Disclosed is a method of obtaining an inorganic nanostructured complex (CFI-1), a protein-associated nanostructured complex (MRB-CFI-1) and antitumor use. The main use is in treating urinary bladder cancer, both in animals arid humans. The complex has singular antitumor activity, and can potentially be used as a substitute and/or act as an adjuvant for other commercial antineoplastic drugs.
Process for preparing calcium fluoride from fluosilicic acid
A process for preparing synthetic calcium fluoride (CaF.sub.2) (min 90% CaF.sub.2 by weight) from fluosilicic acid is provided. The processes comprises the steps of (a) reacting fluosilicic acid (H.sub.2SiF.sub.6) with ammonium hydroxide or ammonia in a first reactor so as to obtain a first slurry and filtering the first slurry so as to obtain a filtrate containing a solution of ammonium fluoride (b) precipitating the solution of ammonium fluoride with calcium in a second reactor so as to produce a second slurry containing calcium fluoride and (c) evolving the major part of ammonia from the second reactor and then scrubbing and returning said ammonia to the first reactor.

The present invention discloses a process for recovering ammonia from vanadium preparation for ammonium preparation and recycling wastewater. A conventional vanadium extraction process is complex, and the most difficult to control and treat are ammonia emissions and wastewater treatment. The present process can directly extract ammonium metavanadate and ammonium polyvanadate from the beginning of mining and smelting, and gather all emitted ammonia to prepare ammonium in the process of preparing high-purity vanadium pentoxide by using the ammonium metavanadate or the ammonium polyvanadate, thereby ensuring zero emission of the exhaust gas, and effectively treat all wastewater generated in the above process by using a polyacid ester folucculation technology, thereby ensuring that the wastewater is not discharged but recycled, and realizing that the purity of all products reaches 99.5-99.99%.
