A child carry system includes a bag structure having a first shoulder strap, a second shoulder strap, and a removably attachable pouch. The removably attachable pouch has a saddle panel that is coupleable to the bag structure. The saddle panel is coupled to, and contained in, the pouch and may be extendable and coupled to the first and second shoulder straps. When the saddle panel is extended and secured, a child may be placed on the saddle panel. A user may not only carry the child in the saddle panel but may also carry numerous accessories in the bag structure.

A harness for a back-pack comprises a chest harness A, a strut mechanism in the form of a flexible spine B and a hip belt C. The flexible spine B provides a sprung, damped connection between the chest harness A and the hip belt C, so that the load of the backpack is transferred through the flexible spine B to the hip belt C, while the flexible spine can extend to accommodate movement of the wearer's body. The chest harness A comprises straps 12, 15 which are interconnected at the front of the wearer by a buckle 14. Abdominal straps 15 are connected to the buckle 14 by flexible wands 16 which flex under the breathing action of the wearer to retain the load securely against the wearer's back without restricting breathing.

There is disclosed a harness for breathing apparatus comprising a structural support member for supporting a vessel of breathable gas, a waist belt, and a pivot joint mechanism coupling the structural support member to the waist belt. The pivot joint mechanism comprises a release part which is movable to decouple the structural support member from the waist belt.

A waterproof backpack with a pouch dimensioned so that it only covers the thoracic area of the spine of the user, a waterproof lining within the pouch, a set of adjustable shoulder straps adjoined at the front of the backpack, and a set of adjustable abdomen straps. The waterproof backpack enables a user to swim whilst wearing the backpack.

A backpack may include a wind and heat insulating material, the wind and heat insulating material forming a body heated compartment. The backpack may further comprise a seal. The seal may be connected to the body heated compartment and configured to contact a user of the backpack such that the body heated compartment is at least partly sealed against the user.

A system for supporting a firearm in a generally vertical position includes a stock support member to support the stock of the firearm, a first fastening element operatively connectable to a user, and a second fastening element mounted with respect to the firearm. The system is configured such that the first and second fastening elements remain engaged when the firearm is in the generally vertical position so that the firearm is supported only by the fastening elements and the stock support member, but automatically disengage when the firearm is moved to a generally horizontal position for firing. A method includes connecting the first fastening element to a human user via a flexible harness and moving the firearm from the first position to the second position.

The frame deploys to a deployed state and collapses to a collapsed state, the carrier portion defines an upper pocket and a lower pocket that constrain the frame in the deployed state, and the backpack portion is removably couplable to the carrier portion.
