SHOULDER TRANSFER WEIGHT SUPPORT SYSTEM AND FACE SHIELD
A shoulder transfer weight support generally having a hip or waist belt, a back support, and one or more shoulder extensions. The back support has an upper back plate attached to the shoulder extensions and a lower back plate attached to one or more hip belts. The lower back plate features a bracket shaped to receive an end of the attachment bar that joins it to the upper back plate. A spring-loaded plunger can be inserted into the attachment bar to allow for height adjustment of the device. A face shield at least partially made of a radiopaque material and can attach to the back support. One attachment option is a yoke mount with vertical sections at either end of the yoke mount. A second option involves a mount that attaches to the shoulder extension(s). The device can use a full face shield or a face shield with an open front.
CARRYING DEVICES
A carrying device includes a retractable support system for equipment carried in the hand. In some embodiments, the carrying device comprises a frame assembly for transporting larger loads and optimizing the weight distribution thereof. In some embodiments, the carrying device includes a support shelf. In some embodiments, the carrying device includes an expandable volume.
Hands-free item carrying device
The present disclosure provides hands-free item carrying devices and related methods. The devices include a support platform including an interior surface with an item support portion, a bottom and top ends. The devices further include a flexible stabilizing portion coupled to a bottom portion of the support platform and positioned adjacent to the interior surface. The devices also include a body harness with a pair of shoulder straps, at least one first end portion coupled to the stabilizing portion, and at least one second end portion coupled to at least one of the stabilizing portion and the support platform. When the shoulder straps are worn by a user, the support platform is selectively movable between an open positioned angling away from the user from the bottom end with the top end being distal to the user, and a closed positioned with the top end being proximate to the user.
Cinch pack
A backpack may comprise a main body defining a first compartment, a first shoulder strap extending from the main body, a second shoulder strap extending from the main body, a cinching layer disposed adjacent an exterior surface of the main body, a first cinching cord coupled to the first shoulder strap and the second shoulder strap, and a second cinching cord coupled to the main body and extending through at least a portion of the cinching layer, wherein the second cinching cord is slideably coupled to the first cinching cord such that a tension applied to the first cinching cord causes the cinching layer to apply a compression force from the cinching layer toward the front exterior surface of the main body.
Wrap carrier
A wrap type infant carrier which also integrates certain attributes of mei tai and SSC carriers to provide an optimal meld of some of the most desirable attributes of these existing carriers, the present carrier thus providing the comfort and closeness of a wrap carrier, but further being configured to be easily fitted to the wearer, thus avoiding any excessive learning curve associated with its use. In addition to being easy to use, the present carrier is also configured to more effectively distribute the load to the caregiver to mitigate muscle strain or fatigue.
LOAD BEARING HARNESS
Load carriage systems are described including one or more of a first chest panel, a first back panel, and a self-adjusting cummerbund connecting the first chest panel and the first back panel. The self-adjusting cummerbund may include a tensioning mechanism configured to allow the cummerbund to extend and retract, and may be configured to provide varying resistive force. The tensioning mechanism may include one or more of a sliding portion, a continuous patterned length of material that is folded over itself, and an elastic member that is attached to the sliding member and the length of material. Body armor plates may be held between outer and inner chest panels and/or between outer and inner back panels. A strip of webbing may be used to secure the body armor plate between the outer and inner panels.
Device for carrying and transporting a baby
An example baby carrier includes an enclosure, a seat configured to receive a baby, a back frame, and a first support frame. The first support frame includes an extendable arm having a handle, a first hinged leg, and a first wheel mounted to the first leg. The baby carrier is configured to reversibly transition between at least a stowed mode, a stroller mode, and a carrier mode.
Pet Carrying Backpack
A pet carrying backpack is provided and includes a backpack body having a bottom panel, a front panel, a rear panel, a right-side panel, and a left-side panel that collectively form an interior compartment. The backpack body also has a top portion with a collar that forms an opening through which a head of an animal disposed within the interior may protrude. The collar may be stretchable. Paw holes are disposed on a front of the backpack body which accommodate paws or legs of the animal. Shoulder straps are disposed on and extend from the front panel. A pet carrying platform is disposed on or within the bottom panel. The pet carrying platform includes a frame member and a pad member.
Load-Reducing Massage Backpack
A load-reducing massage backpack comprising the pack body and the back belt. An interlayer with an upper opening is arranged on the pack body against the back, an elastic fixed laminate is provided in the interlayer, the lower end of the fixed laminate is provided at the bottom of the interlayer and the upper end can extend out of the opening and is connected to the back belt, and the back of the pack body is against the waist and the massage apparatus. The present invention overcomes the defects existing in the prior backpack without massage function and in the prior massagers which only massage the waist, shoulder or back alone but cannot massage these positions simultaneously. An elastic fixed laminate is arranged on the backpack and a massage apparatus is disposed on the fixed laminate to massage the waist, shoulder and back. The massage apparatus is easy, flexible and can massage one or more positions simultaneously, support change of the massage position based on the user's demand, and be removed and used separately.
Backpack frame
A backpack and frame are disclosed. The backpack frame is designed to be at least partially internal and is of unitary construction, most advantageously of a resin-impregnated material, such as resin-impregnated carbon fiber sheets with selective reinforcement by interstitial layers. The frame has a mid-back portion that includes openings for independently positionable shoulder straps and a lower back portion that provides for a rotatable connection to a belt assembly. A pair of curved stay portions is contiguous with the mid-back portion of the frame and curves outwardly as the stay portions extend downwardly. The frame is preferably curved to match the curvature of the human back. The backpack frame is lightweight and by use of composite materials can provide strength as well as selective flexibility to suspend the load of the backpack and decouple it from the movements of the wearer.
