A Convertible Bag and a Method for Operating a Convertible Bag
A convertible bag 10 comprising: a handle 30; and two retractable straps 40, wherein each retractable strap 40 is extendable from the bag and releasably attachable to the handle 30, so as to convert the convertible bag 10 from a handbag configuration in which the bag may be carried using the handle 30, to a backpack configuration in which the bag may be carried using backpack straps formed from the handle 30 and the retractable straps 40, and wherein each retractable strap 40 is releasable from the handle 30 and retractable, so as to convert the convertible bag 10 from the backpack configuration to the handbag configuration.
LUGGAGE SYSTEMS
A system comprises a first body, comprising: a backpack suspension; a first storage region; and a first portion of a first attachment mechanism. A second body comprises: a second storage region; and a first portion of a second attachment mechanism. A third body comprises: a third storage region; a second portion of the first attachment mechanism; and a second portion of the second attachment mechanism. In a first configuration, the first portion of the first attachment mechanism is coupled to the first portion of the second attachment mechanism. In a second configuration, the first portion of the first attachment mechanism is coupled to the second portion of the first attachment mechanism, and the first portion of the second attachment mechanism is coupled to the second portion of the second attachment mechanism.
BACKPACK ASSEMBLY HAVING CARRYING ACCESSORY WITH BACK PLATE
A backpack assembly includes a bag body and a carrying accessory. The carrying accessory includes a back plate, a bag strap, and a waistband. The back plate has a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion which are opposite to each other, and has a middle portion located between the first engaging portion and the second engaging portion. The first engaging portion is adapted to be engaged with the bag body. A first connecting hole is disposed on the middle portion. The bag strap has two shoulder straps and a first connecting strap which passes through the first connecting hole. A first fastening member is disposed on each of the shoulder straps. The waistband engaged with the second engaging portion is connected to the first fastening members. With such design, the backpack assembly could be engaged with different bag bodies with different functions, different capacities, or different sizes.
HANDLE FASTENER FOR PERSONAL BAG
A handle fastener for a personal bag having two or more handles includes a body having a top and a bottom, a first arm and a second arm, and a ring. The first arm is coupled to the bottom of the body and pivotally coupled to the second arm to selectively grasp one or both of the handles of the personal bag for coupling the handles together. The ring is slidably coupled to the second arm and configured to selectively attach to the personal bag.

A customizable bag is provided that permits multiple types of customization. The bag includes a ferromagnetic platform coupled to one or more of the bag's panels. The ferromagnetic platform includes a magnetic material, a drawable surface, and may be printed with images or designs provided to the manufacturer or provider by the customer or other user. Also provided are systems for customizing a bag or creating a customizable bag.

A system for attaching shoulder straps to a backpack, comprising a detachable shoulder strap assembly including shoulder straps, a yoke to which the shoulder straps are attached, and at least one lower strap attached to the yoke, wherein the yoke has a slit formed therein; a sleeve for attachment to the backpack, the sleeve having an upper part associated with a series of loops positioned and configured to extend through the slit; a securing member for securing the loops to the yoke; and for each of the at least one lower strap, a strap fastener for attachment to the backpack for securing the at least one strap to the backpack. A method for using the system to attach and detach the detachable shoulder strap assembly.
Backpack with dynamic flexible hip belt
A backpack including a flexible hip belt assembly is provided. The backpack may include a frame assembly defining a lower portion, a hip belt including a central portion and a lower portion with opposing first and second arms extending from the central portion. The lower portion of the hip belt and the lower portion of the frame assembly may be securely coupled together to support a substantially vertical load. A resilient member may couple the hip belt to the frame assembly. The resilient member may expand or contract as the hip belt and frame assembly move relative to one another to reduce the forces applied to the hip belt by the non-vertical movement of the frame assembly.

A backpack includes a support portion adapted to be supported on shoulders of a wearer and a bag portion having at least one compartment for storing one or more articles. The bag portion is pivotally coupled to the support portion and adapted to pivot between a first position and a second position relative to the support portion. In the first position, the bag portion is disposed along the support portion and abuts the support portion and, in the second position, the bag portion is disposed substantially perpendicular to the support portion and provides a seat for facilitating a seating of a child.
Combination backpack with removable back support
A combination backpack with removable back support has a backpack portion and a back support portion which are detachably connected to each other. This allows for use of a back support and backpack both together and separately, by utilizing a back support while wearing a backpack when connected and utilizing a back support separately on a seat or chair when detached. The back support portion will attach to the outside of the backpack component.
