Compound arc pack and frame
A novel backpack frame and backpack are described where the frame has a common point from which a pair of upper vertical support members ascend and a pair of lower vertical support members descend. The lower vertical support members are mirror images of each other and one lower vertical support member has a twist in a first direction to form a latitudinal concavity relative to the back side of the backpack and another lower vertical support member has another twist in a second direction to form another longitudinal concavity relative to the backpack back side, where the second direction is opposite to the first direction.

ADJUSTABLE FLEX BACKPACK FRAME
A backpack including an adjustable frame including at least one reinforcement stay having a first side, a second side opposite the first side, and a longitudinal axis, wherein the reinforcement stay includes an asymmetrical flex material configured such that a flexural modulus of the reinforcement stay in a first direction, in which the reinforcement stay flexes about the longitudinal axis such that the first side becomes concave, is greater than a flexural modulus in a second opposing direction, in which the reinforcement stay flexes about the longitudinal axis such that the second side becomes concave, wherein the backpack is configured such that the reinforcement stay can be selectively oriented in either a first orientation, in which the first side of the reinforcement stay faces toward a wearer of the backpack, or a second orientation, in which the second side of the reinforcement stay faces toward the wearer of the backpack.

RETRACTABLE DEVICE FOR PROTECTING THE HEAD OF A USER AGAINST BAD WEATHER
The retractable protection device (100) for protecting a user's head against environmental elements comprises: at least one hoop (110); at least two articulations (135) of at least one hoop with a base, each articulation being attached to one end of at least one hoop, at least one articulation comprising a means for locking said hoop in a predefined position referred to as the deployed position; an at least partially closed base (150), configured to surround the user's nape at least partially, comprising: at least one support (130) resting on each shoulder of the user; and at least one spreader (140) for positioning each articulation at a predefined distance from each support in the deployed position; a sheet of fabric (115) attached to each hoop and the base to create a protection screen around the user's head in the deployed position, the fabric and hoops being circumscribed by the base in a position referred to as the folded position that minimizes the size of the device, between the user's nape and shoulders, freeing up the user's back.
Wearable canopy shade
A wearable canopy shade is provided. The wearable canopy shade includes a canopy secured a frame, wherein the frame includes a bulbous first end and a narrower second end. The frame is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein the open position, the second end is perpendicular to the first end, such that the second end is configured to rest parallel to a back of a user wearing the shade and the first end rests above a head of the user, providing shade to a user positioned thereunder. The shade includes a pair of shoulder straps that can secure the frame to the user. A cord is securable between the first end of the frame and the pair of shoulder straps in order to prevent the rotation of the first end of the frame relative to the second end when the shade is in use.
