Disclosed is a neonate medical wrap. In one embodiment, the neonate medical wrap is a wrap-style baby carrier that is particularly useful during the first 28 days after the baby's birth. Generally, the disclosed neonate medical wrap comprises a torso wrap and a shoulder strap. In use, the torso wrap and shoulder strap may be outfitted around the torso of a parent and, via a side opening, a baby may be installed against the parent's skin under the torso wrap. The shoulder strap may be provided over the shoulder of the parent to assist in supporting the baby's weight while standing.

A carry harness includes: two carry straps, two chest straps connected respectively to the carry straps, a chest fastener configured for joining together the chest straps, the fastener extending along an attachment plane, and at least one tool-carrying strap. The chest straps and the tool-carrying strap are connected to the chest fastener with freedom to pivot in the plane of attachment about at least one axis of pivoting passing through the chest fastener and perpendicular to the attachment plane. The present disclosure relates to a method for metabolic oligosaccharide engineering that incorporates derivatized alkyne-bearing sugar analogs as tags into cellular glycoconjugates. The disclosed method incorporates alkynyl derivatized Fuc and alkynyl derivatized ManNAc sugars into a cellular glycoconjugate. A chemical probe comprising an azide group and a visual probe or a fluorogenic probe is used to label the alkyne-derivatized sugar-tagged glycoconjugate. In one aspect, the chemical probe binds covalently to the alkynyl group by Cu(I)-catalyzed [3+2] azide-alkyne cycloaddition and is visualized at the cell surface, intracellularly, or in a cellular extract. The labeled glycoconjugate is capable of detection by flow cytometry, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, ELISA or confocal microscopy, and mass spectrometry.

The invention relates generally to wearable accessory carriers for mechanical circulatory support systems, and more specifically relates to belts for carrying peripheral components of a VAD. Such wearable accessory carriers may be suitable for carrying and retaining peripheral components of the VAD in a safe, comfortable, and convenient manner. In certain aspects, the invention provides a wearable accessory carrier configured as an elastic belt with several pockets for holding peripheral components. In other aspects, a wearable accessory carrier may be configured as a belt with a magnetic strip configured to carry one or more modular compartments or pockets for holding peripheral components via magnetic attachment. The wearable accessory carriers disclosed herein may be sized to fit around or configured to be worn on a patient's waist, lower or upper torso, thigh, calf, arm, or other limb.

A strap that prevents handles from slipping down from the shoulder. The strap is capable of being hooked, from the front side and the back side of a user, on the handles of a bag hung over the shoulder by passing under the armpit on a side opposite to the side where the handles are. Preferably, the strap has a first engagement portion provided on at least one end portion and a second engagement portion provided at a location different from the first engagement portion and capable of engaging with the first engagement portion, and the handles pass through the inner sides of rings formed by engagement between the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion, and thereby the strap is capable of being hooked on the handles.

A carrier system for use with a body armor garment that distributes the shoulder loads produced by equipment carried or worn by military or law enforcement personnel, away from the user's shoulders and comfortably to the hips. Heavy shoulder loads, which typically cause chronic back pain and can lead to compression of the spine, are significantly mitigated. The carrier system has a vertical back support and a belt for securing the device around the waist of the user. In addition to alleviating shoulder fatigue and spine compression, the device is light, comfortable, durable, adjustable and easy to maintain.

A method for forming a textile strap including a textile matrix formed by stacking at least one first material layer atop at least one second material layer in alternating order. The at least one first material layer is bonded to the at least one second material layer in a manner to fix the at least one first material layer to the at least one second material layer. A plurality of apertures are cut into the formed textile matrix inward from an edge of the textile matrix, such that the textile matrix with defined apertures is predictably flexible in each of two directions. The textile matrix with defined apertures is sheathed in a stretch outer layer configured to substantially enclose the textile matrix with defined apertures. The stretch outer layer is bonded to the textile matrix.

The present invention relates to the field of tool belts. More specifically, the present invention relates to a modular tool bag pouch device and tool bag system that is comprised of at least one tool pouch further comprised of at least one clip and at least one fastener on the rear surface of the pouch. In a differing embodiment, the invention is comprised of a system, wherein the system is comprised of a tool bag, a belt further comprised of at least one fastener, and at least one tool pouch. The tool pouch is generally rectangular and made of a material that is wear- and water-resistant. The device may also easily attach to a tool bag and a belt such that tools may be carried on the waist of an individual. In this manner, the device can be applied to any job such that the tools are within reach.

A parental utility belt system includes an elongated belt having a front surface, a back surface, a first end and a second end. An elongated metal connector is positioned within the front surface and extends from the first end to the second end of the belt. A magnet and buckle are positioned along the second end of the belt to secure the belt about the waist of a user. A plurality of removable accessories is provided with the system. One of the accessories includes a main body having a magnet along a back side and a cord having a clip extending from the front side. Another accessory includes a mesh body having an elastomeric band and a magnet. Another accessory includes a waterproof body having a magnet on the back side.

Devices and methods for providing an integrated belt assembly providing a tie-in point for a safety retention lanyard. In some embodiments, inner and outer belts are provided as coextensive and removably attached. The outer belt has a pass-through window to accommodate a rigger loop of the inner belt. In some embodiments, a method of equipping inner and outer belts is provided.
