Alkynyl sugar analogs for labeling and visualization of glycoconjugates in cells
Methods for metabolic oligosaccharide engineering that incorporates derivatized alkyne-bearing sugar analogs as tags into cellular glycoconjugates are disclosed. Alkynyl derivatized Fuc and alkynyl derivatized ManNAc sugars are incorporated into cellular glycoconjugates. Chemical probes comprising an azide group and a visual or fluorogenic probe and used to label alkyne-derivatized sugar-tagged glycoconjugates are disclosed. Chemical probes bind covalently to the alkynyl group by Cu(I)-catalyzed [3+2] azide-alkyne cycloaddition and are visualized at the cell surface, intracellularly, or in a cellular extract. The labeled glycoconjugate is capable of detection by flow cytometry, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, ELISA, confocal microscopy, and mass spectrometry.
Human body mounted electronic device support systems with adjustable monitor viewing apparatus
Embodiments of a wearable human body mounted electronic device support system are disclosed. The system provides the convenience of controlling a computing or gaming device while in a variety postures and movements including sitting, standing, and freely ambulating about a room. The system comprises a waist mount portion encircling a user's waist for supporting a load. A cantilevered portion extends from the waist mount portion for supporting an electronic input device at an ergonomic position beneficial to the user. The cantilevered portion comprises a projector extending generally anteriorly to form a support platform on which electronic devices are supported. The system may comprise a base to transfer forces from a projector into the waist mount. A portion of the cantilevered portion of the system is configured for instant coupling and uncoupling from the waist mount. In some forms a device coupler secures the electronic device to the support platform.
Utility Tool Belt Pad
A utility tool belt pad described herein comprising of a 4 wide 100% neoprene with u-loop fabric on the inside and covered with nylon for long-lasting use. The present invention works by wrapping the utility tool belt pad around your waste between your clothing and skin. The neoprene pad is thick with rolled edge for comfort and design to have narrower sides and front for freedom of movement and the comfort foam relieves pressure associated with all-day wear thanks to the thick padding creating space between body and belt. The added layer of protection stops contact between the waist and hips and hard unforgiving clips, preventing painful bruising and soreness from all-day wear. Once attached by the Velcro loop hook the user can securely fixed any type of utility belt to their body over the utility tool belt pad. The present invention will give a user's skin and hips the support they deserve, and will drastically reduce the impact, irritation, strain, pinching and bruising.
SECURE FIT QUICK RELEASE TOOL BELT AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE
Disclosed is a quick release tool belt for the waist of a user, which includes a support strap, a release band with belt teeth on a first end and a binding with a release mechanism on the second end and slidably coupled to the release band. The binding has a base, a release rotationally attached to the base with a tooth lock, a tooth coupling rotationally attached to the base and engaged with the release and the release band, and a lever rotationally attached to the release and engaged with the release band with a tightening tooth. When the release is in the engaged position the tooth coupling and the lever are engaged with the release band and when the release is in the release position, the tooth coupling is operably engaged with the release and the tooth coupling and the lever are disengaged with the release band.
Storage Device System
A storage container with various aspects is described herein. The storage container may have cleats or cleat receptacles to interact with other storage containers and/or accessories. The storage container may also include rails for attachment of various accessories. Some versions of the storage container may further include telescopic uprights connected to a handle. Many of the versions of the storage containers may further include wheels for transporting the storage containers and their contents.
Plugging rod connector
A plugging rod connector includes a long plugging rod and a buckle device configured on the plugging rod. The buckle device has a positioning component on the top of the plugging rod. A crevice is formed between the positioning component and plugging rod. The two sides of the positioning component are respectively configured with a first locking component. An operation component having an operational portion is pivoted on the positioning component. The two sides of the operational portion are respectively configured with two parallel extension rods. A pivot shaft has its two ends being respectively perpendicular to the corresponding extension rods, making the operation component into a square-mouth shaped structure. The inner sides of the extension rods are respectively configured with a second locking component. The two second locking components are locked onto the corresponding first locking components, so that the operation component is temporarily unable to rotate or swing.
Storage Container with Adjustable, Convertible Strap
A reconfigurable waterproof bag is defined by a plurality of material surfaces extending in three dimensions, a strap for carrying the bag, and one or plurality of strap guide(s) into which the strap is disposed and through which the strap may be moved, the strap guide extending within or without the bag from any one of the plurality of surfaces to any other one of the plurality of material surfaces in three dimensional space without limitation to define a geometry of a strap path and coupling of the strap to the bag so that the bag is reconfigurable in a plurality of different carrying modes.
POUCH BELT HAVING AN ADJUSTABLE POUCH AND METHOD FOR MAKING POUCH BELT
A pouch belt is provided having a belt with a convex-shaped insertion portion and a belt flap portion that is capable of being folded. The belt supports first and second D-rings that define first and second D-ring openings and the belt flap portion extends through the first and second D-ring openings. The belt flap portion and is folded and secured to the belt. A first pouch assembly is providing having a pouch and pouch belt loop, and the pouch belt loop defines a pouch belt passage that is sized to receive the belt.
