Provided is a method which exerts an excellent effect in controlling a pest in a field of soybean, corn or cotton, using a SDHI compound and a PPO-inhibiting compound. A method of controlling a pest (a weed and/or a plant pathogen) in a field of soybean, corn or a cotton, including treating a field before, at or after seeding with a seed of soybean, corn or cotton treated with one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of SDHI compounds, with one or more PPO-inhibiting compounds selected from the group consisting of flumioxazin, sulfentrazone, saflufenacil, oxyfluorfen, fomesafen and a compound of the formula:

Method for disinfecting a surface, and composition suitable for use therein
A method for disinfecting a surface contaminated with microorganisms or suspected of being contaminated with microorganisms, the microorganism being one or more of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Enterococcus hirae, including the step of contacting the surface with a disinfecting composition including: 0.1-10 wt. % of one or more N-acylated amino acids or N-acylated peptides, or a salt thereof, less than 0.1 wt. % of hydrogen peroxide, 0.1-20 wt. % of one or more non-ethoxylated anionic surfactants, 0.05-5 wt. % of a carboxylic acid, wherein the disinfecting composition has a pH in the range of 1-4.5 wherein the composition includes less than 5 wt. % of ethoxylated anionic surfactant. The invention also pertains to a composition suitable for use in the method according to the invention. The method and composition provide excellent biocidal activity over a broad range of organisms using low concentrations of organic acids.

The invention also pertains to a composition suitable for use in the method according to the invention. The method and composition provide excellent biocidal activity over a broad range of organisms using low concentrations of organic acids.

Killing one or more agricultural pests is accomplished by bringing the agricultural pests into contact with a toxic amount of a formulation comprising: (I) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of: (1) one or more compounds of structure (A), wherein the compounds of structure (A) comprise:

The formulation can be a synergistic formulation.

The present invention provides a fungicidal composition comprising a strain of Bacillus subtilis or Bacillus amyloliquefaciens and one of several compounds in a synergistically effective amount. Also provided are methods of controlling fungal harmful organisms and/or bacterial harmful organisms in a plant, the method comprising applying an effective amount of a fungicidal composition to the plant, to a part of the plant and/or to a locus on which the plant or plant part grows.
