HYDRATION DELIVERY TUBE WITH CHECK VALVE
20220087403 · 2022-03-24 ·

A hydration system includes a liquid reservoir, a bottleneck plug, a tube, a hydration valve (e.g., bite valve), and a flow-restricting device (e.g., check valve). The tube comprises a first end for coupling to the liquid reservoir via the plug, a second end having the hydration valve, and the flow-restricting device interposed between the liquid reservoir and the hydration valve. The plug may be inserted into a variety of bottlenecks.

The system may include a bottle to contain a liquid, a drinking tube, and a bottle adapter. The bottle adapter may couple to the bottle to position the drinking tube within the bottle. The bottle adapter may include a body, an aperture, an engagement interface, a central channel, and a vent structure. The body may have a cylindrical geometry. The aperture is disposed at an end of the body and sized to receive the drinking tube to allow the drinking tube to pass through the bottle adapter. The engagement interface is disposed at another end of the body opposite the aperture to couple the bottle adapter to the bottle. The central channel extends through the bottle adapter along a central axis of the body. The vent structure is formed in the body to intake air into the central channel along an exterior of the drinking tube within the bottle adapter.

The system may be a device that allows for mixture of an additive to a substance in a line of flow. The system may include a hydration pack with a reservoir that may contain a first substance, such as water. The system may include a cartridge with an additive that is mixed to the line of flow through a Venturi which may include a rolling seal that is manipulated with a dial a user manipulates to adjust the amount of additive added to the line of flow. The mixed liquid may then be accessed through a hose from the system to a mouth piece. The system may be modular to allow a user to replace the cartridge by disengaging a first component and a second component of the system through a buckling mechanism and replacing the cartridge within the second component. The cartridges may be reusable, recyclable or disposable.

PORTABLE HYDRATION SYSTEM
20210331909 · 2021-10-28 ·

A portable hydration system and various components are disclosed. The system utilizes a pump to transfer potable liquid (e.g. water) from a liquid container to a user during challenging activities (e.g. endurance motorcycle riding).

Ergonomic Water Bladder
20210321751 · 2021-10-21 · ·

A “Wing-shaped” liquid bladder device is disclosed having angular shoulder wings on the left and right sides. The wings join at an angle creating a substantially “V-Shaped” hollow volume for storing liquids. A re-sealable opening receptacle can be found on top the bladder for filling the hollow volume. One or more additional arms can be added to the wings. The wings and arms meet at a lower distal end to create a substantially “V-shaped” funnel that is attached to an outlet pipe. In the front, shoulder straps are attached to the wings and they go over and across the front of the wearer's body to a lower portion of the arms of the bladder. The outlet pipe is attached to the funnel and extends up to the wearer's shoulder. A drinking straw can be attached to the outlet pipe to allow the user to easily access the liquids inside.

Vehicle with personal hydration system

A hydration system including a fluid reservoir, a fluid path in communication with the reservoir, and a magnetic quick connect interposed in the fluid path is disclosed. A fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed that includes a magnetic quick connect interposed in a fluid delivery path of the delivery system. The magnetic quick connect can also be used in a wide variety of fluid delivery systems. A kit for forming a fluid delivery system for a hydration system is also disclosed, as are various components of a hydration system.

Hydration bladders

Disclosed herein are embodiments of hydration bladders that include flexible wall portions along with relatively more rigid structural portions that are shaped to help define the shape of the bladder and can also help a user grip and manipulate the bladder. The structural portions can also support or incorporate other bladder features, such as inlet ports, caps, outlet ports, valves, tubes, attachment points, graphic designs, and/or other features. Some embodiments include an outlet tube that is retractable and extendable through an upper port at the top of the bladder.

Backpacks with cooperatively adjusted hip belts and compression straps

Backpacks with cooperatively adjusted hip belt segments and compression strap segments. A backpack includes a pack body, a shoulder strap, and a belt assembly. The pack body includes a back panel and an exterior panel. The belt assembly includes a compression strap segment, a hip belt segment, an adjustment strap, and a releasable fastener. The backpack includes a belt assembly waist loop with a belt assembly waist perimeter. Each adjustment strap is configured to selectively adjust each of the pack volume and the belt assembly waist perimeter. The belt assembly is configured such that, responsive to the user applying a tension force to the adjustment strap, each of a pack volume and the belt assembly waist perimeter decreases by a respective degree that depends upon a ratio of the force required to decrease the pack volume to the force required to decrease the belt assembly waist perimeter.
