A backpack is provided which includes a sleeve housing a protector. The protector includes a top handle section, a middle padded section, and a bottom section. The middle padded section act as a protective layer between a cloth worn by a user and a seating surface. The backpack enables avoiding contamination of the clothing of the user, thereby reducing healthcare-associated infection. The invention also provides a wearable guard. The wearable guard includes a sleeve. The wearable guard is adapted to worn as a backpack or a sack thorough the sleeve, making the wearable guard comfortable to place on shoulder of the user. The wearable guard also includes a protector housed inside the sleeve. The wearable guard enables protection of the cloth worn by the user from unsanitized seats, especially encountered when taking public transportation.

A portable seat, comprising an internal frame; a cover; and one or more hook assemblies; wherein said internal frame is encased by said cover; wherein said one or more hook assemblies comprise a hook, biasing element, and anchoring element; wherein said one or more hook assemblies engage said internal frame at an engagement area via said anchoring elements; wherein said cover comprises one or more holes through which said one or more hooks protrude; wherein said biasing elements applies a force to said hooks such that said hooks pivot at said engagement area and said hooks rest against said cover; wherein said one or more holes are not configured to be sealed; and wherein said hooks are configured to engage a front surface of a bench by pivoting away from said cover and extending orthogonally relative to said cover.

A chair with armrest connectors includes a backrest, a seat, a pair of armrests, and a supporting frame configured to move the chair between a folded configuration and a deployed configuration. A pair of connectors are secured within cavities disposed on an upper surface of each armrest. The connectors are configured to move between a deployed position extending outwardly from the cavities and a retracted position within the cavities. When deployed, the connectors are configured to removably secure to a supporting frame of a second chair. This allows for multiple chairs to be secured to each other when in a folded configuration. The chair includes adjustable shoulder straps that allow an individual to easily carry the assembly of attached folded chairs supported against the individual's back. The chair may also include additional fasteners or connection mechanisms for supporting additional items against the front side of the individual for improved weight distribution.

An inflatable air mattress system comprises an inflatable air mattress defining an air chamber and including an inlet passageway, an inflation valve mounted to the inflatable air mattress, and a connector. The valve defines a passageway that includes a lip and a valve member. The valve member includes a seal movable between a closed position wherein the valve member is at least partially covering the lip. In an open position, inflation air can pass through the passageway and into the air chamber of the mattress. The inflatable air mattress system includes an inflating bladder including an interior portion defined by at least one wall of flexible fabric having a first end and a second end. The first end includes a wide opening securable by a closing spring, the second end includes an outlet adapted to connect to the connector.

A backpack includes a frame system. The frame system has two L-shaped members, one or more cross bars, and an attachment bar. A pack has a base, a rear wall, a front wall, two side walls, and a closable lid. The pack also has shoulder straps disposed at the rear wall and a pair of elongated channels on the rear wall. A dual-configuration chair and backpack having at least one storage compartment with a back panel and a bottom panel held in rigid orientation to each other at a predetermined angle by an integral tubular frame having a two generally U-shaped frame portions fixed at the selected angle. A deployable seat is rotatably affixed to a lower edge of the back panel and includes a flat foam cushion formed at an angle complementary to the angle between the back and bottom panels of the backpack. When used as a seat the flat serves as a cushion under the buttocks of the user. When used as a backpack the flat is rotated up to the back panel such that the complementary angles position the cushion for proper lumbar and back support of the backpack load.
