A header including a front and rear wheel assembly, each assembly having an axle and two wheels. Each wheel assembly is coupled to the main body of the header by an actuating system having an actuator mechanism for actuating a swivel movement of the axle and the wheels to bring the wheel assembly to or from a road transport position. The front and rear wheel assemblies are equipped with tie rod arrangements for steering the header when it is transported on the road. The wheels of the wheel assemblies are operated as caster wheels. The tie rod arrangement of the front wheel assembly is coupled to a pivotable base connected to, or connectable to, a drawbar. The wheel assemblies have respective actuators which are synchronized so as to synchronize the position of the front and rear wheels.

Disclosed is an autonomous agricultural carrier vehicle including a frame construction with mounting devices configured to carry and guide at least one agricultural implement; at least two chassis constructions which are mounted on the frame construction; a drive apparatus having a drive train which is coupled to the least two chassis constructions and is configured to specify a driving speed; and a control apparatus and an environment sensor system which is signal-connected and/or signal-connectable to the control apparatus. The chassis constructions are preferably mounted rotatably about at least 90 about vertically oriented axes. Also disclosed is an autonomous agricultural machine in combination with the autonomous agricultural carrier vehicle.

A header that includes at least one support and transport wheel assembly having an axle and two wheels. The wheel assembly is coupled to the main body of the header by an actuating system that includes an actuator mechanism configured to actuate a swivel movement of the axle and the wheels, the swivel movement being configured to bring the wheel assembly to or from a position wherein the axle is transversal to the longitudinal direction of the header. The wheel assembly is equipped with a drawbar that is deployable from a storage position to a deployed position, wherein the movement of the drawbar between the positions is synchronized with the swivel movement of the wheel assembly.

An implement has right and left pivotally attached tool bar frames movable from an operating position extending laterally to a transport position extending forward from the connecting pivot axis. Right and left hitch arms are pivotally attached about vertical axes at rear ends to spaced apart locations the right and left tool bar frames and extend forward and inward when the tool bar frame is in the operating position. A hitch frame is pivotally attached at right and left rear portions thereof to front ends of the hitch arms about vertical axes. When the tool bar frame is in the transport position, the rear end of the hitch frame is forward of the right and left tool bar frames, and the front end of the hitch frame, attachable to a tractor, is a desired clearance distance forward of the right and left tool bar frames.

A modular autonomous agricultural vehicle includes a drive module having a frame, a ground-engaging element rotatably coupled to the frame, a power source, and a drive motor receiving power from the power source and coupled to the ground-engaging element for rotating the ground engaging element. At least one toolbar module is detachably coupled to the frame for coupling the drive module to an agricultural implement or another modular toolbar segment. The modular toolbar preferably includes multiple toolbar modules coupled to each other in series to form the modular toolbar.

An agricultural machine has a symmetrical chassis hydraulically transformable between a folded transport configuration and two unfolded configurations, using articulated beams. An air seeder example has a primary beam linking a tractor to a hopper-carrying trailer, also locating the chassis. Machinery such as seed openers is held in frames pivoted from the tertiary beams. In all configurations except completely folded, lateral chains that are maintained tight with a hydraulically powered tensioning system having sideways compliance maintain the tertiary beams and frame-supported machinery in a symmetrical configuration to each side of the primary beam, when working.

A machine and method for collecting rocks in fields and then for dumping these rocks in a row for easier pickup or for storage. The machine includes one or more rock collectors for receiving rocks along with soil, smaller rocks and field debris that may accompany the rocks, and for screening out soil, field debris and smaller rocks that are small enough to pass through gaps between the grates of the rock collectors. The machine also includes rock lifter plates that assist the lifting of rocks from the field up onto the rock collectors for screening and collection. A further embodiment of the machine includes a rock collector unloader mechanism for raising the rock collectors thereby unloading the collected rocks roughly in rows. These rows may be formed off the field, or picked up more easily by hand or with a conventional row-collecting rock picker, and then removed from the field. The rock collector unloader mechanism may be attached to a trailer frame portion of the machine, the trailer frame serving to pull the rock collectors when the trailer frame is attached to a tractor or suitable pulling machine.

A towable farm implement having a frame element having a field end, a fold gate, and an inner wing tow bar rotatably connected to the frame member. The farm implement having a wing having a wing frame extending from a center end to an outer end. The fold gate can be rotatable between a transport position in which the fold gate is parallel to the main carrier and a field position in which the fold gate is perpendicular to the main carrier. Rotating the fold gate into the transport position can pivot the wing about the inner wing tow bar into a parallel orientation relative to the frame member. Rotating the fold gate into the field position can pivots the wing about the inner wing tow bar into a transverse orientation relative to the frame member.

A movement system for farming machinery includes a transmission box inserted in the rotation group which, due to the action of a rigid arm, causes a lateral translation movement and, due the action of the rotation group, a rotation movement of the functional head around the center of rotation. The rotation group is positioned with respect to the functional head to translate along the trajectory. The functional head is arranged in a collapsed configuration so the functional head is situated within the overall road size determined by the tractor; and to assume a translated configuration, in which the functional head is situated outside the overall road form of the tractor; the rotation movement allows full rotations of 360 of the functional head due to the coincidence of the center of rotation with the axis of rotation of the transmission box.

An agricultural harvesting head for an agricultural combine has a first gauge wheel assembly coupled to a laterally extending frame that is convertible from (a) a harvesting position in which the first gauge wheel assembly supports the frame during crop harvesting, to (b) a transport position in which the first gauge wheel assembly supports the at least one section for transport on the road.
