A multi-purpose blanket has been designed that provides the owner with, among other things, a pillow, a blanket, a hammock, a tarp, a canopy, a poncho, a hammock liner and a hammock underquilt. The blanket has a base member having at least two opposing edges, each of the opposing edges having a casing along at least a portion thereof. A strap is inserted into each of the casings, each of the straps being secured to the base member at one end of the casing. The blanket also has a bag formed by a portion of one side of the base member and a bag panel attached to the one side of the base member. To allow for different configurations, there is a plurality of snap members disposed around a periphery of the base member.

This invention provides an improved sleeping bag convertible into a backpack with reduced complexity and greater ease of use. The sleeping bag includes (1) an elongated flexible bag; (2) a flexible pouch attached to the bag at or near the bag's lower end; (3) left and right shoulder straps, each having a lower section attached to the bag at the bag's lower end and an upper section attached to the bag at a location spaced from the bag's lower end; and (4) a side attachment assembly for releasably attaching the left side edge of the bag to the right side of the bag, adjacent to the pouch. The bag is configured to be storable within the pouch by (a) folding the bag along a central longitudinal axis, (b) folding the bag lengthwise into the pouch via the pouch's open upper end, and (c) attaching the side attachment assembly, after which the sleeping bag can be worn as a backpack on a person's shoulders.

The apparatus can also be used for comfort while the user rests during the travel. To do so, the apparatus includes a tote bag, a plurality of heating devices, and a controller. The tote bag is a transformable structure that can be configured to be used as a storage structure or as a pillow-blanket combination. The tote bag also facilitates the transformation of the apparatus between the two configurations by the user on-the-go. The plurality of heating devices provides warm and comfort to the user when the user utilizes the apparatus as a pillow-blanket combination. The controller enables the user to control the operation of the plurality of heating devices while utilizing the apparatus as a pillow-blanket combination.

A novel travel device and method of storing items are disclosed. The travel device may comprise a top shell joined to a bottom shell to form a container. A sleeve may be removably attached to the top and bottom shells but is preferably fixed to the interior of the container. The sleeve acts a second container for holding items such as dirty clothes. Clean clothes may be placed in the remaining portion of the interior of the first container thereby keeping the dirty clothes separate from the clean ones. The top shell, bottom shell, and sleeve are preferably made of fabric. The sleeve may be made of impermeable material and may include a sealable hole to store wet or particularly odorous items. The travel device advantageously is capable of storing both clean and dirty clothes at the same time while also functioning as a comfortable pillow.

A travel blanket system for offering warmth and comfort is provided. The travel blanket system comprises a blanket having a top side, a bottom side opposite the top side, a top edge, a bottom edge opposite the top edge, a first side edge between and substantially perpendicular to the top edge and the bottom edge, and a second side edge between and substantially perpendicular to the top edge and the bottom edge. A pillow is mountable to the top side nearingly adjacent the top edge blanket. A securing mechanism is mounted to the blanket. The blanket is rollable from an open configuration to a closed configuration along the top side of the blanket from the top edge of the blanket to the bottom edge of the blanket. The pillow is completely wrapped within the blanket when the blanket is in the rolled configuration. The securing mechanism releasably secures the blanket in the rolled configuration.

The convertible ground cover and backpack may be utilized in a variety of outdoor settings like hunting, camping, or fishing. The convertible ground cover and backpack allows users to quickly convert a ground cover into a backpack using minimal tools and can be performed under various conditions. This eliminates the unnecessary extra weight required in conventional systems of carrying both a backpack and a groundcover.
