The present disclosure enables circulating water treatment with high water treatment efficiency.
Silt Fence Configured for Capturing Pollutants and Fabric Forming the Same
A composite silt fence configured for capturing pollutants in one embodiment comprises a silt fence fabric including i) a polymeric geotextile fabric particulate filtering layer defining the hydraulic flow capacity for the silt fence, ii) a pollutant capturing layer coupled to the polymeric geotextile fabric particulate filtering layer and configured to capture some select pollutants in water from flow that has passed through the polymeric geotextile fabric particulate filtering layer, and iii) a backing layer coupled to the pollutant capturing layer; and a plurality of stakes secured to the silt fence fabric at spaced locations. The silt fence fabric yields higher hydraulic flow than existing fence constructions with greater sediment retention and pollutant containment features.
INTEGRATED FILTRATION AND GAS FLOATATION WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND PROCESS
A wastewater treatment system comprises a fluid conveyance, one or more filtration vessels, one-way valves, and a backwash collection conduits. The filtration vessels each have a vessel inlet and a vessel outlet. Filtration media is positioned between the respective vessel inlet and the respective vessel outlet. Each respective vessel inlet communicates with the fluid conveyance. Each one-way valve is located at the inlet of the respective filtration vessel to regulate a flow of fluid from the fluid conveyance into the respective filtration vessel and to prevent the fluid from exiting the respective filtration vessels through the one-way valves. Each backwash collection conduit communicates with each filtration vessel by a drain conduit, the drain conduit having an outlet that is above a top of a fluid volume in the backwash collection conduit so as to provide an air gap.
COMPACT WATER HEATING AND TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water heating and treatment system includes a water heater operatively coupled to a water heater controller, a hot water outflow line from the water heater, and a cold water supply line to supply water to the water heater. The cold water supply line includes at least one of an anti-scale device operatively coupled to an anti-scale device controller, and at least one sanitation device operatively coupled to a sanitation device controller. The mixing station is operatively coupled to a mixing station controller. The mixing station supplies heated water to at least a first temperature zone at a first hot water temperature. Controllers of the water heater controller, the anti-scale device controller, the sanitation device controller and the mixing station controller are co-located at a front of a single enclosure behind an openable door, the controllers operatively coupled to a supervisory controller.
STORMWATER COLLECTION AND TREATMENT SYSTEM
The present invention discloses the stormwater source filtration system in which the treatment location is at the first point of water collection, as close to the source of contamination as possible. This provides for a modular, flexible, linear treatment system that can adapt to the existing conditions and the existing roadway profiles. Like our road systems, this is linear and can change with the roadway. This system provides for increased storage capacity immediately adjacent to the roadway. Modular and flexible construction make this system of superior cost effectiveness versus the current filtration systems used today. The ease of maintenance and ability to quickly change the filtration media as needed will reduce long term maintenance costs versus current systems. The disclosed system may be installed in both new constructions and as an enhancement/retrofit of existing systems.
ELECTROLYTIC BIOCIDE-GENERATING UNIT INTEGRATED WITH STRAINER
A biocide-generating device including a housing having an inlet and an outlet. The biocide-generating device additionally including a strainer basket that mounts within an interior of the housing including parallel electrode plates positioned within an interior of the strainer basket. The biocide generating device additionally including a protective dielectric sleeve in which the electrode plates are received. The protective dielectric sleeve is positioned between the electrode plates and the strainer basket.
Integrated filtration and gas floatation water treatment system and process
A compact, portable system and process separates dissolved and suspended solids from water containing high levels of those solids. Gas flotation is used with and oxidant as an initial stage. The resulting foam is dewatered in a fluid conveyance, with the gas being recycled to the flotation column, the foam sent to a holding tank and the water passed through one of a number of filtration vessels having granular filter media. As at least one filtration vessel is kept in operation filtering, another filtration vessel can be backwashed when the flow therethrough is diminished of the fluid level inside rises. Treated water is used for backwashing and provided to a collection conduit.
