A convertible tote bag assembly is provided. The tote bag includes an exterior housing that is an article of clothing having fastening members. An interior panel may be seated and coupled within the exterior housing, wherein the exterior housing is wrapped around the interior panel to engage the fastening members in a closed manner. A strap may be coupled to the exterior housing, wherein when the interior panel and the strap are removed from the exterior housing, the exterior housing converts into a wearable article of clothing, such as a shirt, blouse, or a pair of slacks. In some embodiments, the exterior housing may include at least one pair of sleeves coupled to a bodice, wherein the strap is slidably positioned through the pair of sleeves. The bodice may include an opening defining a neckline, such that the exterior housing may be worn as clothing.

Disclosed is a backpack, shelter, rain poncho/rainfly/pack cover combination. The combination is configured such that the tent is stored in a zippered front pocket of the backpack, a removable hooded rain poncho/rainfly/pack cover is stored in a pocket on the top of the pack, and a telescoping frame sits in an integrated sleeve within the pack, preferably against a foam backpanel. The front of the backpack is configured to form a wall of the tent, when the tent is erected. The telescoping frame typically consists of (i) one horizontal hollow tube arm; (ii) an adjustable hinge connected to each end of the horizontal tube arm, each hinge configured to lock at 90 degrees as well as a wider angle; and (iii) a vertical leg assembly connected to each adjustable hinge, each vertical leg assembly containing two telescoping hollow tubes.

The device allows users to transport clothing garments without having to stuff it inside a backpack, purse, etc. or having to carry the jacket in hand. As designed it offers a much simpler and more convenient method of transporting clothing garments.

The jacket portion is reversible for stylistic variety and accommodates attachment of the backpack on both the front and back of the jacket.

A transformable backpack and jacket system which allows the backpack to be converted into a jacket and be reversed. The jacket and backpack can also be worn simultaneously, resulting in three total modes of wear. The first mode has a wearable jacked with a backpack, including straps, secured away in pouch in the back of the jacket and covered with a zippered lid. A backpack and hood combination device for shielding a user's head includes a backpack and a hood. The backpack comprises a pair of shoulder straps that is configured to position over shoulders of a user to couple the backpack to the user. An upper limit of the backpack is positioned proximate to a base of a neck of the user and a rear of the backpack substantially abuts a back of the user. The hood is coupled to and positioned in a pouch that is coupled to the upper limit proximate to the rear of the backpack. The hood is selectively extensible from the pouch through a pouch opening that is positioned in the pouch. The hood is configured to cover a head of the user to protect the head of the user from windchill and moisture.
