APPARATUSES FOR EXTRACTING RARE EARTH METALS AND OTHER MATERIALS FROM WASTEWATER
An efficient, cost-effective, and efficacious technique for removing coal ash and other pollutants from waterways, ponds, marshes, holding tanks and other water sources and supplies. An apparatus comprising an open cage including electromagnets and/or permanent magnets and/or electrodes is supplied with electrical power to extract materials such as rare earth elements and/or heavy metals. The materials levitate to the surface, forming a slurry while leaving water substantially free of such materials.
METHOD FOR RESTORING ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT BY UTILIZING EMERGENT AQUATIC PLANTS
The present invention relates to the field of water environment treatment, and particularly discloses a method for restoring an ecological environment by utilizing emergent aquatic plants. According to the present invention, by arranging a magnetization reactor around the emergent aquatic plants to carry out intermittent magnetization induction on the emergent aquatic plants, the available quantity of plant root systems for mineralized substances in a micro-environment, such as inorganic phosphorus and the like, is increased, the limitation of maximum biomass is broken through, the oxygen conveying effect of the roots of the aquatic plants is promoted, and the hydraulic transmission effect is maintained and enhanced; and under the condition that the planting density of the plants is not increased, the pollutant absorption and conversion capacity of the emergent aquatic plants is promoted and improved, and the purification and ecological restoration efficiency of the emergent aquatic plants for a water environment is improved by about 30%.
MAGNETIC MAGNESIUM-MANGANESE LAYERED DOUBLE METAL OXIDE COMPOSITE AND PREPARATION AND APPLICATION
A magnetic magnesium-manganese layered double metal oxide composite and preparation and application. A soluble magnesium salt and a soluble manganese salt are dissolved in water to obtain a magnesium-manganese salt complex liquid; and a soluble carbonate and a soluble hydroxide are dissolved in water to obtain a carbonate-hydroxide complex liquid; a ferroferric oxide powder is added to the carbonate-hydroxide complex liquid, and then ethanol is added for ultrasonic dispersion to obtain a dispersion liquid; then the magnesium-manganese salt complex liquid is added for aging, centrifuging, washing, drying, grinding for sieving, and calcinating at 250-550° C. to obtain a magnetic magnesium-manganese layered double metal oxide composite. The composite of the present invention has relatively strong magnetism to Cd removal, and is featured by high adsorption efficiency, rapid adsorption rate and stability. Moreover, the composite can not only immobilize Cd efficiently, but also can be separated and recycled by magnet.
Device for improving water quality
Disclosed herein is a device for improving water quality, said device comprising: an inlet for inflow of liquid into the device; a hydraulic circuit for receiving liquid from the inlet, the hydraulic circuit comprising at least a first tank and a second tank, wherein the first tank is upstream of the second tank and wherein one of said first and second tanks is nested within the other of said first and second tanks; an outlet at a downstream end of the hydraulic circuit for discharge of liquid from the device; one or more contaminant separation elements in the hydraulic circuit for separation of contaminants from liquid passing therethrough using at least one of: gravitational separation; sized-based filtration; chemical separation; magnetic separation; electrolytic separation; and adsorption or attraction-based separation, wherein the first tank is a settlement tank for gravitational settlement of contaminants from the liquid.
Apparatuses and methods for treating, purifying and/or extracting from wastewater
Rare earth magnets electrically connect electrolysis electrode structures and serve as electrolysis electrode segments.
Systems and methods for providing an electrolytic cell that produces conditioned electrolyzed water
The present invention relates to systems and methods for cleaning materials, such as flooring and upholstery. In some cases, the systems and methods use an electrolytic cell to electrolyze a solution comprising sodium carbonate, sodium bicarbonate, sodium acetate, sodium percarbonate, potassium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and/or any other suitable chemical to generate electrolyzed alkaline water and/or electrolyzed oxidizing water. In some cases, the cell comprises a recirculation loop that recirculates anolyte through an anode compartment of the cell. In some cases, the cell further comprises a senor and a processor, where the processor is configured to automatically change an operation of the cell, based on a reading from the sensor. In some cases, a fluid flows past a magnet before entering the cell. In some additional cases, fluid from the cell is conditioned by being split into multiple conduits that run in proximity to each other. Additional implementations are described.
Quantum energized water through the selective treatment and conditioning of a base aqueous solution
A method for the creation of structured water in a laboratory or commercial setting may be bottled and distributed for human consumption. The method creates structured water that maintains its specific matrix structure for longer than structured water that is formed naturally (signal-locked water). The method creates signal-locked water by rendering the water prepared with a magnetic field, adding additives, exposing it to electromagnetic radiation, and adding a concentrate. The signal-locked water may be bottled and distributed for purchase and consumption.
