The electromagnetic boom comprising a plurality of electrically coupled solenoids disposed at the water for providing electromagnetic pulses to generate the time-varying pulsed-wave to transport the colloidal mixture. The depository having an electromagnetic ramp magnetically coupled with the electromagnetic boom and a separation receptacle for separating magnetized particles from the colloidal mixture.
A Process for Removing Micropollutants in Liquid or Gas
The present disclosure relates to a process, a system and a use for removing micropollutants (1) in liquid (2). The process comprises providing liquid (2) to a container (3) adapted to hold a liquid and/or a gas, providing magnetic activated carbon (4), mixing it, separating the magnetic activated carbon (4) using a magnetic separator (5), removing between 1 and 100% of the separated used magnetic activated carbon (4), removing the liquid (2), providing new liquid (2) to the container (3), providing the used magnetic activated carbon (4) to the container (3), adding between 1 and 100% of unused magnetic activated carbon (4), repeating the mixing and separation steps at least one time. The process allows for control of several parameters, such as the flow rate of the liquid, dosage of MAC and ratio used/unused MAC required to remove micropollutants from the liquid.
Dielectric Barrier Discharge For Ballast Water Treatment Using Optimized Voltage Shape Control
A Dielectric Barrier Discharge system controller for controlling a fluid treatment by a Dielectric Barrier Discharge system is provided. Therein, the strength of an effect caused by a discharge created by the Dielectric Barrier Discharge system is monitored, and the generation of high-voltage pulses by the high-voltage pulse generator is controlled. The controlling of the generation of the high-voltage pulses is adapted based on the received sensor data.
Method of extracting water from sludge using magnetic treatment
A method of extracting water from sludge, wherein the sludge includes a magnetic ballast, wherein the sludge is positioned on an interface. It includes applying a magnetic treatment to the magnetically-ballasted sludge to extract water from the sludge.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONDITIONING FLUIDS
An apparatus, comprising a magnetically conductive conduit having a fluid entry port, a fluid impervious boundary wall and a fluid discharge port defining a fluid impervious flow path through the magnetically conductive conduit, at least one end of the conduit having a taper forming a planar surface extending from an outer to an inner surface; an electrical conductor comprising a length of an electrical conducting material having a first and second conductor lead, the electrical conductor coiled with at least one turn to form an uninterrupted coil of electrical conductor encircling a section of the outer surface of the magnetically conductive conduit; and an electrical power supply operably connected to at least one of the first and second conductor leads, wherein the at least one coiled electrical conductor is thereby energized to provide a magnetic field having lines of flux directed along a longitudinal axis of the magnetically conductive conduit.
METHOD FOR REPAIRING STEM CELLS AND USE THEREOF
The present invention falls within the technical field of cell repair, and specifically relates to a method for repairing stem cells and a use thereof. On the basis of the original invention technology, following improvement, in the present invention, pulse wave-treated water having the function of repairing stem cells is obtained by means of pulse wave-treated water having pulse wave sequences with equal widths and unequal intervals, and the method has additive effects on multiple treated samples. Without influencing cell proliferation, a culture system prepared from the pulse wave-treated water can not only reduce the natural apoptosis effect of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (H-MSC), but also can inhibit injury-induced H-MSC apoptosis, and has a cell repair effect.
Method and system for treating irrigation water
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods and systems for treating irrigation water by introducing a propagating electromagnetic field into the irrigation water as it flows through an irrigation system. The treatments described herein may have a variety of beneficial effects on the water, including a significant increase in the percentage of the water that is maintained in the root zone of a given crop as plant-available water and the essential mineral, e.g. calcium and/or magnesium, uptake of that crop.
Purification apparatus with electrodeless bulb and methods of operation
A purification apparatus includes a radio frequency (RF) signal source that generates an RF signal, first and second electrodes, and a conduit. The first electrode receives the RF signal and converts it into electromagnetic energy that is radiated by the first electrode. The conduit includes input and output ports and a chamber. The input and output ports are in fluid communication with the chamber, and the chamber is configured to receive an electrodeless bulb. The chamber is defined by first and second boundaries that are separated by a distance that is less than the wavelength of the RF signal so that the chamber is sub-resonant. The first electrode is physically positioned at the first boundary, and the second electrode is physically positioned at the second boundary. The first and second electrodes and the chamber form a structure that capacitively couples the electromagnetic energy into an electrodeless bulb within the chamber.
Micro-Pulse Micro-Arc Processing in Rotating Electromagnetic Fields
A system for processing air, water, and solid waste material and method of use. The system for processing waste material comprises a tubular reactor through which waste material is passed. The tubular reactor comprises an inductor configured to produce a rotating magnetic field. A plurality of needle-shaped ferromagnetic elements are disposed within a cylindrical working zone of the reactor. The needle-shaped ferromagnetic elements oscillate reaching several thousand periods per second. The system and method for processing natural, synthetic and waste material utilizes micro-pulse micro-arc processing of the material in the rotating magnetic fields to convert organic and inorganic waste into purified raw materials that are usable with minimal reprocessing.
