HAND-TOOL RETRACTOR COVER HAVING INCREASED DROPPED TOOL HOLDING STRENGTH
A hand-tool retractor cover includes a body portion and a handle portion attached to and extending from the body portion. The body portion has a first-side wall, a second-side wall spaced apart from and substantially parallel to the first-side wall, and a perimeter wall extending transversely between and connecting the first-side wall to the second-side wall. The body portion defines a retractor compartment between the first-side wall, the second-side wall, and the perimeter wall. The body portion also defines an entrance into the retractor compartment and a retractor cable opening. The handle portion defines a handle opening and is made of a stretchable and resilient material. The stretchable and resilient material is adapted to increase a weight rating of a hand tool retractor when a hand tool retractor is placed within the hand tool retractor cover.
Wearable power supply system
A wearable power source system is provided. The wearable power source system embodies a wearable power assembly having a wearable adapted to retain a power source, and a tool adapted to be powered by the retained power source. An electrical connection may connect the tool to the power source. A user may don the wearable power assembly, whereby a tool's power source is worn by its user, making handling the tool less of a burden. Clothing relative to the wearable power source system will be designed and become part of the user. Slacks, jackets, vest, apron, wristband, belt, hat jewelry, belly/fanny pack, and other such clothing/personal embodiment items will be designed to become part of the person and the wearable power source system.
Locking folding knife with clip actuator
The disclosed locking folding knife with clip actuator combines a locking mechanism with a clip mechanism. This results in a reduction of the number of required parts, simplifying the knife while maintaining functionality. The blade of the knife pivots with respect to the handle. In the preferred embodiment the blade rotates about a pin, the pin optionally surrounded by a bushing. The pin about which the knife rotates is an extension of one of the arms of the clip.
Smart phone clip assembly
A smart phone clip assembly for retaining a smart phone is a shirt pocket includes a yoke that has a pair of pivots each is integrated into the yoke to engage a respective side of a smart phone such that the yoke is pivotally retained on the smart phone. A plurality of first mating members is each coupled to the yoke. A panel is attached to a back side of the smart phone and a plurality of second mating members is each coupled to the panel. The plurality of first mating members is releasably mated to the plurality of second mating members when the yoke is positioned in a closed position thereby inhibiting the smart phone from falling out of the shirt pocket.
Configuration of magnets and method for coupling an accessory to an article of clothing
A configuration of magnets for coupling an accessory to an article of clothing, including a first plurality of magnets arranged within a casing with an upper surface and a lower surface opposite the upper surface. Each of the first plurality of magnets having a first magnetic polarity and a second magnetic polarity opposite the first magnetic polarity. Each of the first plurality of magnets positioned within the casing with a minimum separation between each of the first plurality of magnets. Each of the first plurality of magnets oriented such that the first magnetic polarity emanates from the upper surface of the casing. An article of clothing including a portion in which the casing is embedded.
TOOL LANYARD DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A lanyard device suitable for connecting a tool to a user in use, including a housing at least part of which is adapted to be connected to clothing, belt and/or safety harness. The housing including at least one socket means formed thereon and/or therein, said device also including a flexible lanyard or tether means, at least one end of which is adapted to connect to a tool in use. At least part of the said lanyard means includes a portion to be received and/or engage with said socket means and said socket means shaped and/or orientated such that the flexible lanyard cannot pass freely through said socket means when the user lets go of the tool and/or lanyard.
Accessory Lanyard
In some embodiments, a lanyard comprises a body comprising a first end, a midportion and a second end. A first engaging member and a second engaging member are magnetically attracted to one another. The first end comprises a handle and the first engaging member. The second end is configured for attachment to a device.
Attachment system for portable communication device
An attachment system for a portable electronic device includes a clip unit including a clip magnet disposed between a base plate and a top cover and a clip lip formed on the top cover; and an attachment adapter for attached to a back side of the base plate and configured for attachment of the clip unit to an article. The clip magnet is positioned to be aligned with a magnet in the portable electronic device when mated with the portable electronic device. The attachment system enables the portable electronic device to be quickly and easily attached to a desired article and further enable quick release of the portable electronic device from the attachment system.
Retention device and method of use thereof
The present invention relates to a retention assembly and method of use thereof for releasably retaining objects relative to articles of clothing and/or straps of material, especially for use with releasably retaining objects relative to pockets. In one form, the retention assembly includes: a retention tag operatively associated with the object; and a retention device. The retention device includes a body having a first surface and a second surface; a clip operatively associated with the first surface of the body for mounting the body to an article of clothing or a strip of material; and at least one magnetic mount operatively associated with the second surface of the body and configured to magnetically mount the retention tag relative to the body for releasably retaining the object relative to the retention device.
BEVERAGE POCKET OF AN APPAREL ARTICLE
A garment configured for retaining a beverage container and for use on the lower body of a user. The garment includes a pocket coupled to the garment, and a tab coupled to the garment at first and second locations. The pocket includes a lower closed edge, first and second closed side edges and an open upper edge. The pocket is sized to removably receive and retain the beverage container. The first and second locations are spaced apart from each other to define an unattached region of the tab between the first and second locations. The unattached region configured for facilitating the opening of the beverage container by the user.
