HINGED CONNECTION APPARATUS
A hinged support apparatus for a portable electronic display device is disclosed that includes a mounting plate having a first and a second end portion. The mounting plate comprises an opening or mortise into which a magnetically susceptible material, such as a metallic plate, can be embedded. The disclosed hinged support apparatus also includes an elongated base having a proximal end and a distal end in which the proximal end is attached to the first end portion of the mounting plate. The elongated base can include at least one living hinge and, in some embodiments, one or more magnets. The magnets can be made of any ferromagnetic material. The disclosed hinged support apparatus can include an elastic band having a first end and a second end. The first end of the elastic band can be attached to the first end of the base, and the second end of the elastic band can be attached to the second end of the base.
SPORTS ARM BAND
Provided is a sports arm band, including an arm band body. The arm band body includes a substrate material layer, a first material layer and a second material layer. The substrate material layer includes a first storage region and a second storage region that are disposed adjacent to each other and arranged on an upper surface of the substrate material layer. The first material layer forms, together with the first storage region, a first storage cavity for accommodating a first-type accompanying article. The first material layer is in a folded-plane state when no first-type accompanying article is stored in the first storage cavity, and is in an elastically stretched state and is attached to the first-type accompanying article when the first storage cavity accommodates the first-type accompanying article. The second material layer forms, together with the second storage region, a second storage cavity for accommodating a second-type accompanying article.
REMOVABLE POCKET DEVICE CLIPS AND METHODS USING THEM
Certain configurations of a base and clip assembly that can couple to a pocket device are described. In some instances, the clip can removably couple to the base without the use of any external fasteners. Illustrations of the clip coupled to pocket devices such as knives, mobile devices and other devices that can fit into a pocket are also provided.
LOW PROFILE MEDICAL KIT
First-aid systems comprising an ultra compact first-aid pouch configured to fit behind the ballistic plates of a protective vest are disclosed. In this configuration, the first-aid kit is protected from shrapnel and tearing, is easily locatable and removable and does not effect the user's freedom of movement. When the first-aid pouch is removed from its protected location, it presents the first-aid equipment in a logical and easily viewable manner.
Tether system and apparatus for handheld devices
A tether system and apparatus is provided for securing a handheld device to a user. The tether apparatus includes a harness having an elastomeric body configured to engage the plurality of corners of the handheld device thereby releasably securing the elastomeric body to the handheld device, a fastener configured for releasably engaging an article worn or borne by a user, and an elongated tether interconnecting the fastener and the harness. A first end of the tether connected to the elastomeric body, and a second end of the tether connected to the fastener. The elastomeric body and the elongated tether may be monolithically formed. The tether apparatus allows a user to easily retrieve the handheld device if dropped.
Method and system for activity classification
This disclosure is directed to an activity classifier system, for classifying human activities using 2D skeleton data. The system includes a skeleton preprocessor that transforms the 2D skeleton data into transformed skeleton data, the transformed skeleton data comprising scaled, relative joint positions and relative joint velocities. It also includes a gesture classifier comprising a first recurrent neural network that receives the transformed skeleton data, and is trained to identify the most probable of a plurality of gestures. There is also an action classifier comprising a second recurrent neural network that receives information from the first recurrent neural networks and is trained to identify the most probable of a plurality of actions.
Concealed retractable pocket device in clothing
A corrosion resistant retractable tool or opener device is provided. The retractable tool is integrated within an article of clothing. The integrated retractable tool includes a retractor having a housing that encloses an internal spring coil connected to a retractable cord for drawing the cord into the retractor. The cord is attachable to the retractable tool located at a first end of retractable tool. Retractable tool has a second aperture opposite the retractor end and a flange portion projects into the second aperture to provide a lever for urging a bottle cap from a top bead around a bottle. Retractor is fixedly attached, e.g., by stitching or adhesive means, within a sleeve portion integral with a seam, waistband, hemline or pocket of an article of clothing. The strap overlap sleeve portion encloses the retractable tool to conceal the retractable tool.
Joinable and constructable apparel comprising interchangeable and multi-function panels
The present invention relates to the field of apparel and accessories and particularly to a joinable and constructable apparel comprising interchangeable and multi-functional panels, which can be customized for bearing artwork, patterns, brands, logos, themes or indicia of, for example, locations, luxury brands, sports teams, players and the like and it can be configured to form a variety of apparel accessories like head bands, scarves, arm sleeves, hidden pockets etc.
Ammunition magazine retention device
A magazine retention device includes an attachment pouch and an insert. The attachment pouch includes a front panel, a rear panel opposing the front panel, and an attachment portion. The front panel is secured to the rear panel forming a cavity between the front panel and the rear panel. The attachment portion is configured to attach to a carrier. The insert is disposed within the cavity and secured to the attachment pouch. The insert has an first region and a second region. The first region includes a rectangular opening configured to receive a magazine. The second region includes one or more walls that bias toward a center of the cavity. Here, the one or more walls bias in contact with a received magazine.
