Geographic analysis of water conditions
An apparatus for aggregation of water condition at household appliances comprises a communication interface and a controller. The communication interface is configured to send a reporting message indicative of data collected by at least one appliance to a central server. The controller is configured to receive an analysis message from the central server. The analysis message indicates a condition of water from the at least one appliance or a condition of water in a geographic area associated with the at least one appliance. The controller is configured to provide an alert in response to the analysis message.
DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH BYPASS
A chemical injection system connects a main water flow to a source of chemicals to a bypass chemical dispenser in a water treatment system. The chemical injection system includes a supply pipe, a return pipe having a bypass chemical dispenser located along a length thereof, and a controlled pumping system including a compounding-rate pump controller connected to a pumping loop.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING SATURATED OXYGEN WATER
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for producing saturated oxygen water. The present disclosure also provides methods of increasing a concentration of dissolved oxygen in blood of a human subject.
Conductive aqueous solution production device and conductive aqueous solution production method
A conductive aqueous solution production device 1 has an ion exchange device 2 mounted on the way of the main pipe 11 supplying ultrapure water W as raw water, a supply pipe 12 which joins the main pipe 11 on the downstream side of the ion exchange device 2, and a conductivity-imparting substance supply device 3. For example, if the conductivity-imparting substance is ammonia, since the ions are cations, that is, ammonium ions (NH.sub.4.sup.+), it is preferable that an ion exchanger which fills the ion exchange device 2 be a cation exchange resin. If the conductivity-imparting substance is carbon dioxide, the ions are anions, that is, bicarbonate ions (HCO.sub.3.sup.−) or carbonate ions (CO.sub.3.sup.2−), and therefore it is preferable that the ion exchange device 2 be filled with an anion exchange resin. Such a conductive aqueous solution production device is capable of producing a conductive aqueous solution with a stable concentration, and achieves excellent follow-up performance with respect to a change in concentration.
FLOW CONTROL DEVICE
A flow control device comprising a body having an inlet in a first end thereof, an outlet in a second end thereof, and a passageway extending between the inlet and the outlet, the flow control device further comprising an injection assembly located at least partially within the passageway such that at least a portion of a fluid flowing through the device passes through the injection assembly, and wherein the flow control device further comprises a flow control portion adapted to control the proportion of the fluid that passes through the injection assembly in response to one or more parameters.
REUSABLE BATH BOMB VESSEL
A submersible vessel which can act as a reusable bath bomb delivery system is provided. The vessel may include a housing and an opening port. The interior of the housing and ports form a chamber, which can be segmented into multiple sub-chambers. Inlet one-way valve(s) and outlet one-way valve(s) are provided on the vessel. To use, the chamber is partially filled with a mixture including an effervescent material. When water is introduced through the inlet valve, it reacts with the effervescent material, releasing carbon dioxide and dissolving the other ingredients in the mixture, building pressure in the chamber. When the pressure builds to a certain level, the inlet valve(s) are closed, and the outlet valve(s) are opened. The outlet valves may be positioned such that when the fluid and gas is expelled, the force generated may cause the vessel to spin or be propelled in the bath.
WATER TREATMENT METHOD, CONTROL APPARATUS, AND WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment method including: a concentration step of concentrating microorganisms in sample water to purify a concentrate; a detection step of detecting an inhibitor contained in the sample water or the concentrate; a determination step of determining whether to perform a removal step based on a result of the detection in the detection step; the removal step of removing the inhibitor from the concentrate in a case where the removal step is determined to be performed in the determination step; and a measurement step performed after the determination step or the removal step, of measuring the microorganisms contained in the concentrate.
Production of H2S For Efficient Metal Removal From Effluents
Method and apparatus pertaining to the production of hydrogen sulfide using sodium salts recycle. Sodium sulfate is reacted with a carbon containing stream to produce sodium sulfide and carbon dioxide. The sodium sulfide is blended with elemental sulfur and water. The blend is subjected to elevated temperatures and pressures to result in the production of hydrogen sulfide and sodium sulfate. A mixing apparatus, such as a bubble column reactor, has been found to be especially useful. The hydrogen sulfide can be used for removing metal from effluents.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR THE REMEDIATION OF AQUATIC FACILITIES
A system and method for controlling the remediation of aquatic facilities using at least one sanitizer sensor, a pH sensor, a temperature sensor and a chlorine dioxide sensor all interfaced with a programmable controller that is programmed to implement a remediation cycle and configured to calculate a Ct value, the sensors being in fluid contact with water of the aquatic facility, and the programmable controller is interfaced with a chemical feed system for supplying chlorine dioxide to the water.
SPA/POOL WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A mobile device reads a test strip to determine a chemical condition of a liquid or a user inputs a treatment plan into the mobile device. The mobile device transmits the determined chemical condition or the input treatment plan to a liquid treatment system which treats the fluid in response to the determined chemical condition or the input treatment plan.
