The user device has a snap insert (504) having an annular groove (510) bounded by a first annular surface (512) and a second annular surface (514); and a clip assembly. The clip assembly includes a base jaw (520), a pivotable jaw (522) pivotably-coupled to the base jaw, a strap (542) pivotably-coupled to the base jaw at a first end of the strap, and a snap button (506) pivotably-coupled to the strap at a second end of the strap, wherein the snap button comprises a hole (516) and a flexible ring (518) mounted therein, such that as the snap insert of the user device is inserted into the snap button through the hole, the flexible ring is positioned within the annular groove and retained between the first annular surface and the second annular surface, such that the user device is pivotably-coupled to the second end of the strap.

Mounting apparatus for a holster

The present invention relates to a mounting apparatus and a holster having a bracket with a D-stud with a radial pattern of detent pockets. The D-stud allows the bracket to rotate in a ratcheting manner in a first range of motion and freely rotate in a second range of motion. The free rotation of the second range of motion allows the D-stud to automatically recover from a vertical position to a non-vertical position.

Accessory adapter

An adapter for attaching an accessory is provided. The adapter includes a wearable component mounting portion and an accessory mounting platform. The accessory mounting platform includes a first aperture at a first end of the accessory mounting platform, the first aperture being configured to receive a first fastener. The accessory mounting platform further includes a second aperture at the first end of the accessory mounting platform and spaced from the first aperture along a first axis, the second aperture being configured to receive a second fastener. The accessory mounting platform further includes a third aperture at a second end of the accessory mounting platform, the third aperture configured to receive a third fastener. The first aperture, the second aperture, and the third aperture are shaped to enable mounting of a accessory at a plurality of cant angles along a second axis, the second axis being perpendicular to the first axis.
