HYDROGEN PEROXIDE WATER MANUFACTURING DEVICE
A hydrogen peroxide water manufacturing device includes an ejector unit including an introduction-side diameter-increasing portion to which water to be treated is introduced, a nozzle portion connected to the introduction-side diameter-increasing portion and having an introduction opening to which a source gas containing oxygen gas is introduced from outside, on a side wall, and a discharge-side diameter-increasing portion that is connected to the nozzle portion and from which the water to be treated mixed with the source gas is discharged, and an electrolysis unit disposed downstream of the ejector unit and including electrolytic electrodes to electrolyze the discharged water to be treated mixed with the source gas and generate hydrogen peroxide by using the source gas as a source.
COMBINED AERATION AND NANOBUBBLE DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR WATER TREATMENT AND CARBON CAPTURE
A combined aeration system supplemented with a nanobubble delivery system to capture and store carbon, typically in the form of carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) (i.e., “carbon capture”). Produced water is generated as a byproduct of oil and gas extraction. Carbon dioxide is introduced to produced water in the form of nanobubbles. Aeration is used as a pre-treatment to oxidation and to preserve disinfection in produced water, and also reduces the higher temperature of produced water from the wellhead This reduction in temperature allows more carbon dioxide to be absorbed by the produced water, and the absorption process is accelerated by adding carbon dioxide to the airstream used in the aeration process.
SUBSTRATE PROCESSING APPARATUS, PROCESS FLUID TREATING APPARATUS, AND OZONE DECOMPOSITION METHOD
Disclosed are a substrate processing apparatus and a process fluid treating apparatus. The substrate processing apparatus includes a process chamber that processes a substrate with a process fluid including ozone, a discharge conduit connected to the process chamber to discharge the process fluid used to process the substrate, and a process fluid treating apparatus connected with the discharge conduit. The process fluid treating apparatus includes a housing having an inner space with a set volume in which the process fluid is received and an injection nozzle connecting the discharge conduit and the inner space of the housing.
SOIL AND WATER REMEDIATION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATMENT OF RECALCITRANT HALOGENATED SUBSTANCES
Disclosed are methods, apparatuses and systems for the remediation of contaminated soils, groundwater, water, and/or waste using a combination of reagents. The disclosed methods may be used to treat various recalcitrant halogenated substances, such as perfluoroalkyls and polyfluoroalkyls. Particular combinations of reagents that may be used in the disclosed methods include but are not limited to: (1) persulfate, oxygen and ozone; (2) persulfate, salt, oxygen and ozone; (3) persulfate, phosphate, and/or oxygen; (4) persulfate, phosphate, oxygen and ozone; (5) persulfate, phosphate, salt and oxygen (6) persulfate, phosphate, salt, oxygen and ozone; (7) oxygen and salt; and (8) air and salt. The disclosed methods may enhance destruction of organic contaminants in the liquid phase and may also control the rate of aerosol or foam formation relative to the rate of chemical oxidation and/or reduction/transfer.
METHOD FOR ATOMIZER-BASED LIQUID DISINFECTION
The efficiency of water disinfection can be significantly increased by supplying the ozone in combination with oxygen to an inlet of a cavitation pump or a line atomizer. A compressor can be introduced at an inlet of the cavitation pump or the line atomizer, compressing the gas mixture at a pressure higher than the pressure within pump or the atomizer. The compressed gases are provided to the inlet of the atomizer or the pump, where the compressed gases mix with the water and enter the cavitation pump or the line atomizer (where most of the dissolution of the gases happens). The compressor allows to increase the amount of oxygen and ozone provided to the pump or the line atomizer, increasing their dissolved concentration. In addition to the disinfecting properties, the higher level of oxygen correlates to an improved taste of the water.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MAGNETIC FLUID TREATMENT
A magnetic fluid treatment system chamber for treating water for agricultural and other uses includes a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet opposite the fluid inlet. A fluid flow path runs from the fluid inlet to the fluid outlet. A plurality of ferrous metal rods is located circumferentially-spaced about the flow path. The ferrous metal rods are parallel to the flow path. A plurality of axially oriented magnets each has a north face and a south face. Each of the faces of the axially oriented magnets abuts one of the ferrous metal rods.
SINGLET OXYGEN GENERATING DEVICE FOR SELECTIVE DESTRUCTION OF PATHOGENS
A device for generating singlet oxygen is provided. The device has a sensitizer that converts triplet oxygen to single oxygen upon exposure to light. The device is configured to keep the sensitizer from contacting external fluids.
METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUSLY TREATING HIGH CONCENTRATION OF SULFIDE AND ORGANIC COMPOSITION CONTAINED IN WASTE LIQUID
A method for treating a waste liquid comprises: step (A), adding a precursory oxidant to a waste liquid having a temperature of 25-70 C.; wherein, the precursory oxidant is hydrogen peroxide or sodium percarbonate, and in mg/L, a ratio of the precursory oxidant/the total amount of sulfide is 2.20 to 6.37; step (B), mixing an advanced oxidant and the waste liquid after step (A); wherein, the advanced oxidant is sodium persulfate or potassium persulfate, and in mg/L, a ratio of the advanced oxidant/COD after step (A) is 7.63 to 33.27; step (C), using UV illumination method to illuminate the oxidant dissolved in the waste liquid after step (B), and aerated with oxygen-containing gas. By the above-described method, it can achieve the purpose of sulfide conversion and degradation and removal of organic pollution composition under the condition free of the generation of H.sub.2S.
