An aeration cabinet is provided. The aeration cabinet secures a compressor within. The aeration cabinet includes a bottom portion operable to support the aeration cabinet in an upright position when resting on a surface. The bottom portion may include a base plate. The present invention further includes a front wall, a rear wall, a first side wall and a second side wall extending vertically from the horizontal base plate. A lid covers an opening formed along an upper edge of the front wall, the rear wall, the first side wall and the second side wall. A plurality of first vent slots are formed through the aeration cabinet where the front wall and the base plate meet. A plurality of second vent slots are formed through the aeration cabinet where the lid and the rear wall meet.

CUMENE-PHENOL COMPLEX WITH THERMAL OXIDATION SYSTEM

A process for the treatment of waste water, spent air, and hydrocarbon containing liquid and gaseous streams in the cumene/phenol complex is described. Various effluent streams are combined in appropriate collection vessels, including a spent air knockout drum, a hydrocarbon buffer vessel, a fuel gas knockout drum, a phenolic water vessel, and a non-phenolic water vessel. Streams from these vessels are sent to a thermal oxidation system.

INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR CHEMICAL REACTION, SEDIMENTATION AND OXIDATION IN WATER TREATMENT PROCESSES
20170240448 · 2017-08-24 ·

The present invention provides for a multi-stage water treatment system for a plurality of aqueous solutions generated in municipal and industrial processes, e.g., oil and gas field operations, poultry processing, meat processing, dairy processing, and mineral extraction among others. A sequence of different processing steps is carried out, based on the characterization of the composition of contaminants present in the water to be treated. The steps to be carried out include chemical reaction in a series of reactor tanks, sedimentation in slanted plates chamber, air flotation and disinfection, hydrocarbon recovery by a scraper located in a flotation cell. A series of conventional methods are selected to be applied in series for the removal of the contaminants. The process design of an integrated chemical reaction, sedimentation and oxidation system to be used in water treatment of aqueous effluents is presented which is suitable for municipal and industrial processes.

Chemical Oxidation and Biological Attenuation Process for the Treatment of Contaminated Media

Chemically oxidizing a wide range of targeted contaminants in soils, sludges, groundwater, process water, and wastewater and assisting in the eventual (over time) biological attenuation of the contaminants utilizing persulfates activated by trivalent metals, such as ferric iron. The use of trivalent metal activated persulfate results in a chemical oxidation process that yields degradation compounds which facilitate further attenuation via biological processes.

DOPED GRAPHITIC CARBON NITRIDES, METHODS OF MAKING AND USES OF THE SAME

Carbon-doped graphitic carbon nitride (g-C.sub.3N.sub.4) compositions are synthesized from the chemical precursors melamine, cyanuric acid and barbituric acid. Phosphorus-doped g-C.sub.3N.sub.4 compositions are synthesized from the chemical precursors melamine, cyanuric acid and etidronic acid. Carbon- and phosphorus-doped g-C.sub.3N.sub.4 compositions, when in the presence of UV or visible light, can be used in water treatment systems to photocatalytically degrade persistent organic micropollutants such as pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs), pesticides, and herbicides. Carbon- and phosphorus-doped g-C.sub.3N.sub.4 compositions can also be applied to surfaces of household and public items to kill protozoa, eukaryotic parasites, algal pathogens, bacteria, fungi, prions, viruses, or other microorganisms, preventing the transfer thereof between users.

Processing device and processing method for hydrogen-sulphide-containing barren solution

Provided are a treatment method for a barren solution, and a treatment device for a barren solution, with which hydrogen sulfide can be efficiently removed from the barren solution. In an aeration tank provided with a vertical-type cylindrical reaction vessel, stirring blades arranged in the reaction vessel, and an annular aeration tube having a large number of air outlets, which is arranged to a bottom part of the reaction vessel, aeration is performed by blowing gas for aeration into the reaction vessel from a large number of air outlets of the aeration tube while stirring a liquid by rotation of the stirring blades.
