Sewage Treatment Method
20230093739 · 2023-03-23 ·

A method for treating sewage to avoid sludge dumping. The sewage treatment method is a multistage process for sanitizing raw sewage and producing easily managed environmentally safe byproducts. Raw sewage or partially treated sewage is processed to remove and treat any liquids leaving sterilized solids that are compacted for limiting the environmental footprint. The method employs mechanical, thermal, radiation, and chemical treatments to the sewage to produce safe biodegradable materials. The treated final product may be used as fertilizer, fillers, aggregate, or compost.

GENERATOR OF A VORTEX BRAID BROKEN UP INTO A SYSTEM OF TOROID VORTICES
20230130758 · 2023-04-27 ·

The invention relates to a generator and its operation and use for generating toroidal and spatial vortices in a liquid. It comprises a rotationally symmetrical stator housing with an inlet opening and an eccentric outlet opening. It further comprises a rotor rotatably arranged in the stator housing with radially outwardly extending channels in constant fluid connection to the inlet opening. The rotor comprises a rotor disc, radially outside of the rotor with a side surface with inner notches in fluid connection to the rotor channels. The stator housing comprises a stator disc comprising a side surface with stator notches. When these notches face each other due to rotation of the rotor disc, a periodical liquid flow from the inner notches to the stator notches is formed and toroidal vortices are generated in the portioned liquid by shear stress as the portions of liquid move back and forth in the notches.

Water Treatment and Filtration System for Reducing Disinfection Byproducts

An exemplary, nonlimiting embodiment of the present invention relates to a water treatment and filtration system for reducing the concentration disinfection byproducts within drinking water treated by municipal drinking water treatment plants. This water treatment and filtration system reduces the concentration of disinfection byproducts, which may include trihalomethanes (THM) and haloacetic acids (HAA5), in drinking water using a clever sequencing of treatment techniques that intentionally promote formation of the disinfectant byproducts prior to filtration to effectively remove disinfection byproduct precursors and prevent subsequent formation of disinfection byproducts downstream during distribution. Moreover, this water treatment and filtration system can be retrofitted to a variety of municipal drinking water treatment plants and is designed to easily scale if demand for drinking water within the municipality increases.

DEEPWATER CABIN-BASED CONSTRUCTED WETLAND TREATMENT SYSTEM

The present disclosure provides a deepwater cabin-based constructed wetland treatment system, including a cabin body, water inlet subsystems, a drainage subsystem, a micro-aeration subsystem, and a filtering scrapper subsystem. The micro-aeration subsystem includes a micro-porous aeration pipe and an air blower. The cabin body is filled with combined filler. The micro-porous aeration pipe is arranged at a bottom of the cabin body. The filtering scrapper subsystem is arranged above the combined filler. The water inlet subsystems are used for introducing wastewater to be purified onto the filtering scrapper subsystem. The filtering scrapper subsystem is used for performing filtering treatment on the wastewater to be purified to obtain filtered impurities and water after primary filtering, transporting the filtered impurities to a specified area, and introducing the water after the primary filtering onto the combined filler.

Apparatus for treating fluids having improved aeration efficiency and operational durability

An apparatus for treating fluids having improved aeration efficiency and operational durability has an aerator, an impeller, and a liquid reservoir containing liquid to be treated. The aerator has: a motor rotating the impeller at a blade tip speed less than 1,100 inches/second; an air line having an outlet submerged in the liquid and an inlet adjacent to the motor; and a blower. The blower forces air through the air line to the air line outlet. The impeller two blades extending radially from the hub. Each blade has: a low drag, pressure equalized foil shape absent of rake; a leading edge extending from the hub tangentially; a 0.47-0.55 impeller EAR; 0.59-0.87 Pmean/D; progressive pitch distribution based on radius where from 50% R and out is constant and from 50% R to the hub is reduced; and 60-75 degree skew with a linear distribution from 50% radius to blade tip.

11628411 · 2023-04-18 ·

A system, method, and apparatus for oxygenation of a source of water, to increase the dissolved oxygen content of water. Aspects of the present invention harnesses and directs the power of water flowing through the system to extract oxygen present in air, rather than relying on the injection of gas or using other mechanical means. The water oxygenator is formed as an elongate cylindrical tube having a water inlet at a first end, a water outlet at a second end, and an air inlet proximal to the first end. The elongate cylindrical tube has an outer sidewall defining a mixing chamber within an interior cavity of the water oxygenator. The mixing chamber includes a plurality of baffles that are disposed in a spaced apart relation along a longitudinal length of the interior cavity.

Water treatment system and method

A structuring assembly for structuring water in a water treatment system. The structuring assembly comprising a body portion, a tubular first layer defining an interior channel for passage of water, a plurality of structuring bodies positioned in the channel and a dampening layer positioned about the first tubular layer. In application in the water treatment system, as water passes through the channel and over the structuring bodies, dissolved oxygen content of the water is increased.
