SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DEGRADING PER- AND POLY-FLUOROALKYL SUBSTANCES
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for degrading per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) using hydrated electrons generated in an ultraviolet (UV)/sulfite system. These systems and methods may be used, e.g., to remediate wastewater by destroying PFAS and co-contaminants such as chlorinated volatile organic compounds (CVOCs).
Method for treating industrial waste
Disclosed herein is a method for removing contaminants from an industrial fluid waste. The method comprises the steps of ozofractionating the industrial fluid waste whereby contaminants are oxidised and a foam fractionate is formed; and separating at least a portion of the foam fractionate and any precipitate from the ozofractionated fluid.

Ozone gas usage system
A small-scale application apparatus including an ozone generation apparatus configured to generate ozone gas, the application apparatus being configured to perform ozone usage processing. The ozone generation apparatus includes a load-resonant high-frequency step-up transformer configured to obtain a stepped-up high-frequency voltage and an ozone generator configured to receive the stepped-up high-frequency voltage as an operating voltage to generate the ozone gas having an ozone concentration of at least 200 g/m.sup.3 from raw gas containing oxygen gas. The application apparatus receives the ozone gas under a pressure environment of at least 0.2 MPa.
System for processing meats with aqueous ozone
A system for meat processing may include: a conveyor configured to transport animal carcasses or portions of meat through a meat processing facility; and a spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with aqueous ozone when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the spray system by the conveyor. The system may further include a second spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with lactic acid or citric acid when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the second spray system by the conveyor.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SOURCE OF CONSUMABLE WATER EITHER THROUGH FILTRATION OR DESALINATION
A universal water purification system and method that can desalinate salt water or just filter fresh water. Preferably, the system is portable and relatively lightweight and provides for emergency or recreational safe power and water accessibility. The components of the system can be installed on an aluminum frame and preferably include one or more of a waterproof front control panel, four pre-filters, a reverse osmosis membrane or graphene filter, or electrical process of separating chloride ions from water, ultraviolet (UV) LED lamp, ultrasonic frequency generator, chlorinator or disinfecting gas infusion, a high pressure reverse osmosis (RO) pump, or other desalination process and a low pressure water supplying pump, an electro valve preferably with a manual override in case of power loss and can be activated based on the content of total dissolved solids of incoming water. The system may be removably inserted into a suitcase that can be carried by an individual, or housed in a frame with wheels.
Method and devices for passing a chronic total occlusion and re-entry into a true lumen
Methods and devices are disclosed for passing Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) from subintimal location and re-entry into a true-lumen of the patient using transient fenestration approach. The transient fenestration is induced by balloon dilatation within the CTO, and a guidewire quickly trails into a true lumen.
Gas-dissolved liquid manufacturing device
A gas dissolved liquid manufacturing device includes: a pump configured to pressurize a liquid; a pipe communicating with the pump; a nozzle disposed in the pipe, the nozzle being configured to generate micro bubbles using a supplied gas; and a gas-liquid separation tank whose upper part communicates with the pipe, the gas-liquid separation tank being configured to separate a gas-liquid mixture generated by the nozzle into a gas and a liquid.
