Reduction of substances in contaminated fluids using a naturally occurring biological growth media
A treatment process for municipal, commercial, industrial, and institutional fluids containing one or more substances at a first concentration includes a contactor, an aerator, and a separator. The fluid is mixed with a powdered natural lignocellulosic material (“PNLM”), a microbial growth inoculum, and at least a portion of the fluid in the contactor to provide a mixture that includes an established, acclimated microbial growth in the fluid. The mixture is introduced to an aerator where physical binding and chemical bonding of at least some of the one or more substances to the PNLM additionally physiological uptake by microbial growth in a biosludge reduces the concentration of at least some of the one or more substances in the fluid discharged from the aerator to a second concentration. The biosludge is separated to recover at least a portion of the PNLM that is recycled to the contactor.
Rotating Spray Device for Water Distribution on Media Bed of a Biofilter
A biofilter irrigation system comprises a cylindrical vessel having a central axis, a media bed positioned within the vessel, a spray head system positioned above the media bed, the spray head system comprising a central hub positioned at the central axis of the vessel, at least one arm extending distally from the central hub toward a wall of the vessel and configured to rotate about the central axis, and a plurality of nozzles connected to the at least one arm. The biofilter irrigation system further comprises a fluid outlet positioned below the media bed.
Systems and Methods for Reducing Pollutants, Including Carbon in Public Utilities, Agriculture and Manufacturing
A method of providing, maintaining and using a youthful added microbe population for the treatment of wastewater. A method of providing green sustainable microbiology net zero carbon solution to waste water and waste material treatment using biofermentation to treat the waste water and waste material with aa treatment containing biofermented microbes.
Surface Water Mitigation Structure
A surface water mitigation structure suitable for use in the storage and treatment of contaminated surface water runoff. The runoff is processed through a multi-layered filtration and treatment system wherein the first layer is a permeable composite capstone that can support substantial loads yet is pervious enough to allow runoff to pass through it and into a porous storage medium second layer that includes one or more remediating agents, and wherein the effluent from the surface water mitigation structure can be discharged to the ground, the surface, and/or a drainage system reduced or free of contaminants.

WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS USING SOLAR POWER
A water purification apparatus includes a flow-rate regulating tank, an aeration tank, a solar power generation unit, and an air blowing unit. The flow-rate regulating tank changes flow-rate of polluted fluid to constantly discharge. The aeration tank purifies the fluid using microorganisms by contacting the polluted fluid supplied from the flow-rate regulating tank to an air, and includes a floatable panel supporting part and a purifying part connected under the panel supporting part to purify the polluted fluid. The solar power generation unit is supported by the panel supporting part to generate electric power using sunlight. The air blowing unit receives the electric power from the solar power generation unit to supply the air in the aeration tank.
NITROGEN-REDUCING WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A wastewater treatment system is provided having a pretreatment tank which receives wastewater from a wastewater source, and an aeration tank which is in fluid communication with the pretreatment tank. A recirculation pump is carried in the aeration tank and returns wastewater from the aeration tank to the pretreatment tank. The recirculation pump returns the wastewater according to a recirculation ratio R:I where R is the volumetric flow rate of wastewater through the recirculation pump and I is average volumetric flow rate of wastewater entering the pretreatment tank. A control panel cycles the recirculation pump on and off according to the recirculation ratio.
