A system and method of treating wastewater. In one embodiment, the system comprises a biological reactor fluidly connected to a source of wastewater and having a treated wastewater outlet, a fixed film biological reactor connected to the source of wastewater and having a fixed film effluent outlet, and a ballasted system fluidly connected to the fixed film effluent outlet. The ballasted system may comprise a ballast reactor tank configured to provide a ballasted effluent, and a source of ballast material fluidly connected to an inlet of the ballast reactor tank. The system may further comprise a bypass line having an inlet fluidly connected to the source of wastewater, a first outlet fluidly connected to the ballasted system, and a second outlet fluidly connected to the fixed film biological reactor, the bypass line configured to bypass the fixed film biological reactor.

Wastewater treatment and disposal system

A wastewater treatment system is a septic tank adjacent to an aeration chamber. The aeration chamber has a tertiary baffle and a circular current of fluid wherein the circular current produces a down flow current of liquid past the tertiary baffle. This current prevents suspended particles from passing through the tertiary baffle.

A method and a ventilation system includes ventilation ducts, a control system and at least one spray nozzle. The at least one spray nozzle is configured to spray a liquid mist onto at least one portion of an inner surface of the ventilation system. The liquid mist contains a culture of microorganisms adapted for biologically treating fat, oil and grease present on at least one portion of the inner surface of the ventilation system, thereby providing for partial biodegradation of the fat, oil and grease present on the at least one portion of the inner surfaces of the ventilation system.

Treatment process and device for submerged lifting circulation type bio-membrane filter

The present invention discloses a treatment process for a submerged lifting circulation type bio-membrane filter, wherein the treatment process comprises the following steps: two groups of symmetrically staggered filter curtains (2A and 2B) are adopted; the two groups of filter curtains (2A and 2B) are periodically lifted up and down in a reciprocating manner in a biofilter (1) under the action of a lifting mechanism (4), so that bio-membranes on the two groups of filter curtains (2A and 2B) are in contact with the atmosphere and sewage in turns, absorb organic matters in the sewage when lifting down for submerging, absorb oxygen when lifting up and exposing into to the atmosphere, and bring oxygen into the sewage and cause sewage turbulence in a water tank when lifting down for submerging again, so that the dissolved oxygen is uniformly distributed, thereby purifying the sewage.
