HOLISTIC MANURE MANAGEMENT WITH IMPROVED ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND EXTRACTION OF MANURE VALUE
Methods and equipment of this invention enable small scale animal farming operations to substantially all or nearly all the recoverable value from their manure streams at a cost suitable for such smaller scale operations. The invention gives small scale animal farming operations the opportunity to obtain manure recovery benefits typically obtainable only in animal farming operations having high animal populations. The recovery is in forms that are both useable, readily monetized, environmentally sustainable, and cost effective. Much of the recovered material can find use back within the processing steps of invention thereby increasing the value of the recovered residual materials.
Compartmentalized anaerobic digesters
An anaerobic digestion device includes a digester body with an opening through which organic waste is received and a digester drum removably inserted into the digester body for receiving the organic waste. The digester drum is movable relative to the digester body to advance a slurry of the organic waste along a length of the digester body. A set of ports spaced along the digester body and arranged to vent biogas from the organic waste contained in the digester drum. A storage vessel is configured to receive and store biogas received from the digester body via the ports, and a heating system configured to heat the digester body. The heating system is fuelled by the biogas vented from the digester body.
ANAEROBIC BIOREACTOR WITH ELECTROLYTIC REGENERATION FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT
An anaerobic bioreactor with electrolytic regeneration system, method and apparatus for monitoring pH levels which is simultaneously efficient in both anaerobic digestion and optimized filtration process is disclosed. To maintain the pH stability of an anaerobic bioreactor, an electrolysis process is integrated with the bioreactor. The integration of an electrolysis process with the bioreactor sustains the pH in the optimized range for anaerobic process while enhancing the removal of contaminants in the bioreactor, augmenting biogas production, and mitigating fouling.

A waste processing system includes: an input module for converting input organic waste into processed input waste; a digester module, coupled to the input module, for generating biogas and digester effluent from the processed input waste, including: a digester tank; baffles affixed within the digester tank; a digester process solution in the digester tank including, hydrolytic bacteria, acidogenic bacteria, acetogenic bacteria, methanogenic bacteria, or a combination thereof, for converting the processed input waste into the biogas and the digester effluent; and an output module, coupled to the digester module, for collecting the biogas and digester effluent after a residence period.
Waste processing system with anaerobic mechanism and method of operation thereof
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THERMOPHILIC ANAEROBIC DIGESTER PROCESS
An anaerobic digestion system is provided that includes a blend tank operable to control and perform pre-treatment of feedstock. An anaerobic digester is operable to digest the feedstock provided from the blend tank in a totally enclosed oxygen-free environment within a specific temperature range. A bio-mass tank processes liquid digestate from the anaerobic digester. One or more baffles are positioned in the digester, with the one or more baffles providing for plug flow through at least a portion of the digester to create baffled zones that are at least partially operable independently of adjacent baffled zones. A bio-mass tank processes liquid digestate from the anaerobic digester. An energy source is coupled to the anaerobic digester.
Portable Wastewater Treatment Systems
In one embodiment, a portable wastewater treatment system includes an anaerobic reactor in which organic material within the wastewater can be broken down, a membrane filter that receives wastewater from the anaerobic reactor and filters the water to produce permeate, and a small shipping container in which the reactor and the membrane filter are contained.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The instant disclosure is directed towards methods of treating wastewater and related systems, where the system includes: a first zone comprising at least one anaerobic tank, and a second zone comprising at least one engineered wetland. In some embodiments, the system includes a third zone comprising at least one bauxite residue cell.
TWO-PHASE SULFATE REDUCTION DEVICE AND TREATMENT METHOD FOR PREVENTING SLUDGE CALCIFICATION
The present application discloses a two-phase sulfate reduction device and treatment method for preventing sludge calcification, which belongs to the technical field of wastewater treatment in environmental engineering. The present application combines a two-phase sulfate reduction anaerobic reactor with an alloy catalyst, and reasonably arranges a two-phase connection unit of the alloy catalyst within the device body. By using the special functions of the porous alloy catalyst material to release free electrons into a body of water and polarize the body of water, the electrostatic potential of the body of water is changed, sludge calcification during the wastewater treatment process is prevented, and the treatment efficiency of the anaerobic system for sulfate organic wastewater is ensured.
Biochar-anaerobic membrane biological treatment system and process
Provided is a biochar-anaerobic membrane biological treatment system and process. The system mainly includes a reaction tank, a membrane module, a macroporous gas distribution device, low-temperature pyrolysis biochar. The application of the process to sewage treatment shows that: under the conditions that the hydraulic retention time is 3.2-7.2 h, the membrane flux is 12.0-17.8 L/m.sup.2/h, and the sludge concentration of 7.2-15.6 g/L, multiple objectives of promoting organic micropollutants (OMPs) biotransformation, accelerating methane production and strengthening membrane fouling control were achieved. The system improved OMPs removal efficiency by more than 20%, decreased membrane fouling rate by 50%, and reaching an organic matter removal efficiency of more than 86% at low temperature. The system and process solve the problems of poor OMPs removal efficiency, serious membrane fouling, and low methane yield at low temperature in the anaerobic membrane biological treatment system.
