Portable renewable energy microgeneration system
10384969 · 2019-08-20 · ·

A portable renewable energy microgeneration system is disclosed. The system comprises one or more holding tanks that are configured to perform anaerobic digestion on waste in a multi-phase process using bacteria and a controller configured to automatically control the multi-phase process and to re-use the bacteria. The controller re-uses the bacteria by removing at least a portion of the liquid from the waste after anaerobic digestion is performed on the waste and using the at least a portion of the liquid to wet other waste and repeat the multi-phase process.

The operating condition in the basin is anoxic and/or anaerobic, and the treatment apparatus arrangement includes at least one mixer machine located in the basin and a variable speed drive operatively connected to the mixer machine. The variable speed drive operates the mixer machine alternately in a Normal Operation Mode, in which an operational speed of the mixer machine is at least the greater of a suspension speed and a process speed, and a Reduced Operation Mode, in which the operational speed of the mixer machine is below the suspension speed. Also described is a treatment apparatus arrangement and a treatment plant, respectively.

WATER TREATMENT WITH OIL

Carbon sources, such as food-grade oil, present in or above infiltration fields or other areas of water leaching systems, are employed, the water leaching systems having one or more layers. Carbon sources, such as food-grade oil, whether in aerobic or anaerobic conditions or saturated and unsaturated conditions may provide denotification of water interfacing with the oil or other carbon source.

Septic Sludge Alarm Assembly
20240150207 · 2024-05-09 ·

A septic sludge alarm assembly includes a vault buried beneath ground thereby facilitating the vault to be aligned with a septic tank. A sludge trap is positioned within the vault. The sludge trap has an inlet fluidly coupled to a septic tank and an outlet fluidly coupled to a leach field supply. The sludge trap has a lower section facilitating liquid flowing into the inlet to flow downwardly into the lower section. The sludge trap has an upper section inhibiting the liquid from flowing upwardly into the upper section. The sludge trap urges the fluid to flow upwardly into the upper section when the lower section becomes sufficiently filled with sludge. A flow alarm is actuated when the sludge trap urges the fluid to flow upwardly into the upper section thereby facilitating the alert to be alerted that the septic tank needs to be emptied.

Bubble generation for aeration and other purposes

Uses of a method of producing small bubbles of gas in a liquid include gas transfer in airlift bioreactors and anaerobic digesters, and particle separation. The method uses a source of the gas under pressure, a conduit opening into a liquid and oscillating the gas passing along the conduit. The oscillation is effected by fluidic oscillator, comprising a diverter that divides the supply into respect outputs, each output being controlled by a control port, wherein the control ports are interconnected by a closed loop. Separation of algae from water involves delivering a laminar flow of microbubbles in the range 10 to 100 m diameter. Such bubbles also deliver a laminar flow in bioreactors that delivers enhanced liquid flow despite the small bubbles, which improves mixing and also enhances efficiency of gas exchange and retention of the bubbles in the reactor.

Method for treating a black and odorous water body with a bionic process

The present application provides a method for treating a black and odorous water body comprising the following steps: pre-treating the black and odorous water body; passing the pre-treated water body through a biomimetic intestine tubular purification system which imitates a digestion of small intestine; passing the tubular purification system-treated water body into a microbial fuel cell which imitates a digestion of large intestine to treat the water body; and pumping the microbial fuel cell-treated water body into an upward flow inclined tube sedimentation tank to treat the water body.

ODORLESS WASTE DISPOSER UNIT
20190177198 · 2019-06-13 ·

A device for grinding and reducing food waste to be disposed of in sewage systems. The device eliminates disagreeable odours by flooding the grinding chamber with water using a swivel plug that retains a gap of fresh water from the last use of the tap. The fresh water serves as a barrier to odors by creating a partition, isolating the dirty water in the grinding chamber. The matter to be grinded is segmented and torn up several times by a grinding apparatus made of cutting blades while it swirls in the water until it is reduced to particles small enough to pass through openings in a spherical grid. The device can be adapted to different uses: residential, commercial or industrial.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing recycled water, according to which when recycled water is prepared from waste water, chemical cleaning of a membrane can be significantly reduced and fouling of the membrane can be eliminated by substantially only washing with water. The above object is achieved by providing a method for producing recycled water, the method including the following steps (A) to (D) of: (A) subjecting waste water to an anaerobic treatment and an aerobic treatment which are carried out by microorganisms, the waste water having been discharged during a production process of a PHA; (B) subjecting treated water obtained in step (A) to pretreatment filtration performed by a membrane bioreactor method; (C) subjecting the treated water obtained in step (B) to an alkali treatment; and (D) filtering, through an ion removal membrane, the treated water obtained in step (C).
