Corrosion control composition for water treatment process
The present invention relates to a water treatment composition comprising blended phosphates which exhibit a synergistic effect for corrosion and scale control and as a sequestering chemical treatment of potable water and more particularly to chemistry which lowers the phosphate concentration necessary to achieve effective corrosion prevention. The composition controls corrosion and cleans the water distribution line by removing scale, tuberculation, and biofilm. Sequestration of the heavy metals and soft metals such as iron, manganese, calcium, and magnesium provides complete solubility of the material to be removed from the metal surface. The inclusion of citric acid with the blended phosphate formula improves drinking water quality in 2 ways: 1) a reducing agent reverses the oxidation of metals which would convert metal to metal salts (copper/lead, etc.) and 2) by chelation, it encapsulates transition metal cations, especially Manganese and Iron, found while source water passes through the treatment process and the drinking water distribution piping network.
SCALE INHIBITOR, SCALE-INHIBITING DEVICE USING THE SAME, AND SCALE-INHIBITING SYSTEM
A scale inhibitor includes a granular material composed of a particle containing a plurality of polyphosphate salts, the granular material has an asymmetric particle diameter distribution, and a particle diameter with a maximum frequency is smaller than an average particle diameter of the granular material.

A scale inhibitor includes a granular material composed of a particle containing a plurality of polyphosphate salts, the granular material has an asymmetric particle diameter distribution, and a particle diameter with a maximum frequency is smaller than an average particle diameter of the granular material.
Scaling treatment systems for water heaters
A liquid dosing system is disclosed and can include an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit. The inlet and outlet conduits can each be configured to fluidly communicate a heat exchanger of a water heater. The liquid dosing system can include one or more connector conduits configured to fluidly connect the inlet conduit and the outlet conduit to define a fluid circuit by at least the inlet conduit, the heat exchanger, the outlet conduit, and the one or more connector conduits. The liquid dosing system can include a pump configured to pump water through the fluid circuit, a reservoir configured to store an additive, and a dosing device configured to dispense the additive into the fluid circuit.
Water filter cartridge having tank limescale protection
The invention relates to a water filter cartridge comprising a housing and a filter-side tank connection element for insertion into a water tank, more particularly into a water tank of a household appliance (11), and a filter section for treating the water to be taken from the water tank. It is distinguished by the fact that the water filter cartridge comprises a reservoir chamber with a means to counter precipitations in the water tank, where the reservoir chamber is designed separate from the filter section and its flow guideway for the water running through the filter section to be treated, in such a way that there is no contact between the water flowing through the filter section and the means to counter precipitations, and that the reservoir chamber has at least one passage for the means, whereby the means to counter precipitations is in contact with the unfiltered water in the water tank.

Water-savings adiabatic spray system
A water savings system and method for reducing the amount of water needed for adiabatic cooling including the use of a softener and a reverse osmosis device, in which tap water, softened if necessary, is delivered to a reverse osmosis device and softened water alone, reverse osmosis reject water, or softened water combined with reverse osmosis reject water is delivered to spray nozzles for cooling, and reverse osmosis pure water is stored and used periodically to flush the coils to inhibit and/or prevent corrosion from dissolved salts and other solids in the spray water.
Chemical release system
A chemical release system. Implementations may utilize implementations of a first cartridge that include a body coupled with a cartridge head at a first end and coupled with an end plug at a second end where the cartridge head includes a through hole configured to engage with an annular flange in a main head. The body may have an internal cross section. The first cartridge may also include a flow restrictor plate disposed within the body between the first end and the second end where the flow restrictor plate is oriented substantially parallel to the cartridge head within the body, includes only one opening therethrough, and substantially conforms with the internal cross section of the body. The body may include one or more through holes in a side of the body located between the flow restrictor plate and the cartridge head.
