Multi-Configuration Clamp System For Electronic Device
A support system which allows for the use and mounting of a smart phone, or similar electronic device, in a variety of ways. The support system may be adapted to function as a hand grip while supporting the smart phone during image acquisition, or while watching images on the smart phone. In another configuration, the support system may be adapted to attach to the user's belt. In another configuration, the support system may function as a support stand. In another configuration, the support system may be mounted on a tripod. The support system may include a kit of parts which allow for the modification of support accessories to allow for different configurations. The support system may include a removable shutter which may actuate the camera functions via wireless communication.
Apparatus for detachably engaging wireless headsets
The present invention relates to an apparatus for detachably engaging wireless headsets (100), and more particularly to detachably engage with individual wireless earpiece modules. Accordingly, the apparatus includes: a) a neck-band or neck-loop module (110) with at least one battery pack (112); b) at least one earpiece holders (116); wherein the at least one earpiece holder (116) is adapted to be detachably engaged with at least one wireless earpiece module (120); and wherein the at least one battery pack (112) of the neck-band or neck-loop module (110) is configured to supply power to the at least one wireless earpiece module (120) via the at least one earpiece holder (116).
BELT KEEPER
A duty belt and dress belt retainer clip system has a duty belt clip that attaches to the duty belt and has a magnet for engaging a magnet engagement portion on a dress belt clip. Dress belt clips are positioned around a dress belt with the magnet engagement portions facing outward and corresponding duty belt clips are positioned around a duty belt with the magnets facing the magnet engagement portions. The magnet engagement portion has trap walls that surround a magnet engagement wall. The trap walls prevent the magnet from sliding off of the magnet engagement portion. The duty belt clips include a duty belt retention clip that pivots between a locked position that captures the duty belt and an unlocked position that allows removal from the duty belt. Optional fasteners extend through the dress belt to affix the dress belt to the dress belt clips.
Securement apparatus having a concealed structural component
Disclosed herein is a securement apparatus, such as a lanyard, that has increased tensile strength and shear strength when compared with a conventional securement apparatus. The securement apparatus includes a connector extending from a connector body, a strap coupled to the connector body, and a structural component. The structural component has a tapered geometry such that a first end that is contained within the connector body has a first width and/or height and a second end that transitions from the connector body into the strap has a second width and/or height that is less than the first width and/or height.
Holding accessory for a wirelessly locatable tag
A holder for a wirelessly locatable tag may be used with a wirelessly locatable tag comprising a housing member defining a region of an exterior surface of the wirelessly locatable tag configured to act as a speaker diaphragm. The holder may include a receptacle portion configured to at least partially surround the wirelessly locatable tag, the receptacle portion defining a first opening configured to allow the wirelessly locatable tag to be positioned in the receptacle portion, a second opening configured to at least partially surround an outer periphery of a battery door of the wirelessly locatable tag, and a third opening aligned with the region of the exterior surface configured to act as the speaker diaphragm. The holder may further include a fastener coupled to the receptacle portion and configured to releasably secure the first opening in a closed configuration to retain the wirelessly locatable tag in the receptacle portion.
Fastener with a constrained retention ring
A holder for a wirelessly locatable tag may include a snap assembly coupling a first element of the holder to a second element of the holder thereby securing the wirelessly locatable tag within a recess of the holder, the snap assembly including a male assembly having a protrusion component, a female assembly defining an opening that is configured to receive the protrusion component, a groove defined in one of either the male assembly or the female assembly, a compression ring positioned in the groove and configured to retain the male assembly to the female assembly, and a compliant member positioned in the groove and providing a biasing force on the compression ring.
Electronic devices with wrist straps
A portable electronic device may have an electronic device strap. The strap may include inner and outer fabric layers and optional intermediate fabric layers. The inner fabric layer may have strands of material that are characterized by a larger denier per filament value than the outer fabric layer to help draw moisture away from the body of a user. The fabric layers may have stretchable warp fibers that allow the strap to be stretched. Weft fibers at the bottom of grooves that span the width of the strap may be provided with different colors than other weft strands. When the strap is stretched, the visibility of the weft fibers at the bottoms of the grooves may increase. A hook-and-loop fastener may be used to close the strap. Loops for the fastener may be formed from warp strands and may have multiple sizes.
Article retaining device and method of attachment
An article retaining device having a first loop that can be elongated, a hook, an elastic second loop, and an elastic third loop. The hook joined to the first loop. The elastic second loop is joined to the first loop and to the hook. The elastic third loop joined to the first loop. The first, second, and third loops may be arranged around an article.
WEARABLE AND REPLACEABLE POUCH OR SKIN FOR HOLDING A PORTABLE BATTERY PACK
A wearable pouch operable to hold at least one portable battery pack and other power or communications equipment. The wearable pouch includes a main body with a front side, a back side opposite the front side, at least one sealable opening, and at least one opening for at least one lead from the at least one portable battery pack secured within the wearable pouch.
INTERCHANGEABLE SOCKET ACCESSORY FOR A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An expandable socket includes a body having a first end, a second end, and a longitudinal axis. The body is movable between an expanded configuration and a collapsed configuration. A platform has a bore sized to receive the second end of the body. The bore is axially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the body. A locking member is disposed between the body and the platform and rotatably and releasably couples the body to the platform. The locking member is movable between an unlocked configuration, in which the body is removable from the platform, and a locked configuration, in which the body is secured to the platform.
