DEVICE RETAINING MECHANISM
A locking arrangement for retaining a device to a housing. An example locking arrangement comprises a latch, a clip, and a retaining pin affixed to the clip. The at least one latch (a) comprises a latch engagement structure and (b) is moveable between a first position and a second position. The clip (a) comprises at least one clip engagement structure and (b) is moveable between a released position and a locked position when the latch is in the second position. When the latch is in the first position and the clip is in the locked position, the latch engagement structure engages the clip engagement structure, such that the locked position is configured to cause the retaining pin to engage the device. When clip is in the released position, the latch engagement structure does not engage the clip engagement structure and the retaining pin does not engage the device.
SELF-ADJUSTING VARIABLE SIZE HOLSTER
A self-adjusting holster includes first and second shell portions having opposite side panels extending substantially parallel to each other. At least one of the first and second shell portions having a bottom panel. The side panels of the first shell portion and side panels of the second shell portion are configured to telescopically mate such that the mated shell portions slidably adjust relative to each other in a first direction and together define an interior space and an open end opposite the bottom panel. An elastomeric member is configured to bias the shell portions toward each other along the first direction. An item inserted into the open end between the first and second shell portions displaces the shell portions relative to each other against biasing force provided by the elastomeric member.
CUSTOMIZABLE DEVICE CASES AND BAGS
The present invention relates generally to a system for customizing a device case or bag. Non-limiting examples of device cases include cases for laptops, tablets, and cell phones. Non-limiting examples of bags include purses, briefcases, portfolio, backpacks, satchels, totes, camera, messenger, duffel, athletic, firearm, waist/fanny pack, and travel. More specifically the present disclosure relates to customizable features for the device cases and bags such as removable handles and removable multifunctional pieces. In some embodiments, the multifunctional piece may be a mouse pad, a closeable pouch, an organizer, a cell phone holder, an e-reader holder, a tablet holder, a wallet, a purse, a clutch, a card holder, a firearm case, a camera case, and a solar charging station.
WEARABLE AND REPLACEABLE POUCH OR SKIN FOR HOLDING A PORTABLE BATTERY PACK
A wearable pouch operable to hold at least one portable battery pack and other power or communications equipment. The wearable pouch includes a main body with a front side, a back side opposite the front side, at least one scalable opening, and at least one opening for at least one lead from the at least one portable battery pack secured within the wearable pouch.
EXPANDABLE DEVICE FOR A PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An expandable device includes a base having a top side and a bottom side, an expanding mechanism operably coupled to the base, and a button. The bottom side of the base is adapted to engage a portion of a portable electronic device. The button has a top side and a bottom side and is operably coupled to the expanding mechanism. The expanding mechanism is selectively movable between a first configuration whereby the button is disposed in a first, collapsed configuration and a second configuration whereby the button is disposed in a second, expanded configuration. Upon urging the button to the first configuration, the expandable device retains the button in the first configuration, and upon further urging the button towards the base, the button is released from the first configuration and moves to the second configuration
Methods And Apparatus For A Low-Profile Coupler
A coupler for removeable coupling an object to a support. The coupler includes a cover, a ring, and a base. The cover couples to the support. The ring includes a first arm, a second arm, a third arm, a fourth arm, a first stop, and a second stop. Each arm of the ring is formed of a resilient material. The ring is positioned in a cavity of the cover. The base couples to the accessory. The base cooperates with the cover and the ring to couple to the cover and to rotate from a decoupled position to an intermediate position and further to a clocked position.
Beverage bottle with accessible station for portable electronic device
A beverage bottle for a portable electronic device, includes a hand-held container comprising a surrounding wall and having a fluid compartment formed within the surrounding wall, and an accessible station integrated with the hand-held container, wherein the accessible station has a window cavity for accommodating the portable electronic device therein so as to allow the portable electronic device through the window cavity. Therefore, the portable electronic device is carried and protected by the container and is accessible through the accessible station.
Multi-configuration clamp system for electronic device
A support system which allows for the use and mounting of a smart phone, or similar electronic device, in a variety of ways. The support system may be adapted to function as a hand grip while supporting the smart phone during image acquisition, or while watching images on the smart phone. In another configuration, the support system may be adapted to attach to the user's belt. In another configuration, the support system may function as a support stand. In another configuration, the support system may be mounted on a tripod. The support system may include a kit of parts which allow for the modification of support accessories to allow for different configurations. The support system may include a removable shutter which may actuate the camera functions via wireless communication.
Wearable band including magnets
A wearable band may include a first strap portion including a loop, and a second strap portion positionable through the loop of the first strap portion. The second strap portion may include a multi-pole magnet assembly, the multi-pole magnet assembly including two or more magnets arranged in a multi-pole magnet structure and at least one discrete shunt positioned over a surface of the multi-pole magnet structure.
