Installation for treating water by flotation, comprising a substantially parallelepipedal assembly (1) produced by connecting modules (2, 2a), said assembly comprising a contact tank (3) which is provided with supply means for water to be treated (4) and supply means for white water (5), a flotation tank (6) which is provided with means for discharging treated water (7, 7a) and which is separated from said contact tank by a vertical wall (8), and means for discharging floated sludge, characterised in that said contact tank (3) is provided along said flotation tank (6) and delimits a single contact zone for said water to be treated with said white water, and in that said supply means for water to be treated (4) are configured to distribute the water to be treated in said contact tank according to a longitudinal water supply flow, the water distribution flow in the flotation tank being perpendicular to said water supply flow in said contact tank.
Devices, systems, and methods for removing contaminants from water
A water treatment system comprises a container, a closure system, at least one loop structure, and remediation media. The container defines a container chamber, a container opening, and at least one container edge. The container opening allows access to the container chamber. The closure system is arranged to allow the container opening to be selectively opened and closed. At least one loop structure is secured to the at least one container edge. The remediation media is disposed within the container chamber. The container is formed of material that allows water to pass from an exterior of the container to the container chamber and thereby come into contact with the remediation media within the container chamber.

WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment system includes an ozone generator combined with an electrolytic chlorine generator in a compact, efficient and serviceable assembly. The system may include a modular and replaceable ozone generator, which allows a damaged or non-functional ozone generator to be quickly and efficiently replaced. In order to protect the ozone generator from damage, a fail-safe drain valve assembly may also be provided which will expel backflowing pool water before it is allowed to backflow into the ozone generator. The water treatment system may further include an insulated electrolytic chlorine generator that mitigates or eliminates current leakage for efficient operation.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF ORGANIC WASTEWATER
Provided are an apparatus and a method for biological treatment of an organic wastewater where it is possible to efficiently remove organic matter under high load while reducing the amount of air used for aerobic biological treatment and substantially decreasing the amount of sludge generated. The apparatus is provided with: a first biological treatment tank which has a fixed-type immobilized biocarrier and an aeration means; a second biological treatment tank to which a treated liquid from the first tank is introduced so as to perform treatment using suspended microorganisms, and which has an aeration means; and a sedimentation tank in which solid-liquid from the second tank is separated said liquid into settled sludge and treated water, wherein the apparatus has an influent line through which an organic wastewater is introduced to the first tank and the second tank, and a return line through which part of settled sludge discharged from the tank is returned to the tank.
MODULAR SYSTEM FOR WASTE TREATMENT, WATER RECYCLING, AND RESOURCE RECOVERY IN A SPACE ENVIRONMENT
A modular system for waste treatment, water recycling, and resource recovery includes a buffer tank to receive and pre-treat raw organic waste, at least one reactor tank configured as an anaerobic bioreactor that receives and digests pre-treated waste from the buffer tank, a membrane module having a membrane configured to filter waste from the digested waste from the at least one reactor tank to produce a permeate, a permeate collection tank configured to collect and store the permeate generated by the membrane module, a pump system having a plurality of pumps, and a control system configured to monitor the flow of waste and to control the pump system to control the flow of waste between the buffer tank, the at least one reactor tank, the membrane module, and the permeate collection tank.
PORTABLE WATER PURIFYING AND DISPENSING UNIT
A hand-holdable portable water purifying and dispensing unit is described comprising at least a housing, a purified water inlet, a further-purified water dispense outlet, a dispense operator, a reservoir, one or more water further-purification devices, and an internal water recirculation pump and pathway, said pathway including the reservoir and the one or more water further-purification devices. Optionally, the reservoir has a volume in the range 100 ml to 2000 ml, preferably in the range 200 ml and 1000 ml.
Modular water purification system for nuclear power plants
A modular water purification system for a nuclear power plant includes a plurality of modules that may be selectively connected together directly or through the use of intermediary adapters in a plurality of arrangements. The modules may include a pump module, a FOSAR module, a particulate filtration module, a cross-flow filtration module, a degasification module, and/or a demineralization module, among other possible modules. The modules may have common interfaces so that they can be interconnected (directly or through intermediary adapters) in a variety of configurations for different purposes within the context of the nuclear power plant (e.g., filtering pool water; collecting large objects via vacuuming). Various modules may have form factors and/or mounting structures that are similar enough to the fuel assemblies of the plant that (1) the plant's fuel assembly handling equipment can grab, move, and reposition the modules, and/or (2) the modules may be stored in the fuel pool's storage rack.
Modular portable renewable energy microgeneration system
A portable and modular renewable energy microgeneration apparatus is disclosed that includes at least four modular units. The first modular unit includes a mixing tank and a chopper. The second modular unit includes a buffer tank, a liquor tank, and a pasteurization tank that pasteurizes waste that has been mixed with liquid from the liquor tank by the mixer, chopped into smaller sized components by the chopper, and pre-warmed by the buffer tank. The third modular unit includes a digestion tank that performs anaerobic digestion on pasteurized waste received from the pasteurization tank. And the fourth modular unit includes a gas storage tank that stores gas generated by the waste in at least one of the mixing tank, the chopper, the buffer tank, the liquor tank, the pasteurization tank, and the digestion tank. Each of the four modular units is both portable and modular.
