Device attachment for holding a device
An attachment to a mobile device, allowing a user to grasp and use the device. The attachment may include three concentric, interlocking rings. An outer ring adhered to a backing plate may be affixed to a surface of a device, such as a rear surface of a cell phone, smart phone, personal digital assistant, calculator, MP3 player, iPod, iPad, tablet computer or other mobile device. An inner ring attaches to a middle ring via a hinge mount. The grasping device may resemble a ring for a finger of a user, by which a user grasps the attachment and thus the mobile device. The inner and outer rings may be connected and interlocked by a mating middle ring. The middle ring allows the inner ring to rotate relative to the outer ring, allowing the user to conveniently position or orient the mobile device as desired. Other shapes may be used.
PACK ASSEMBLY AND INTEGRATED DOG LEASH
Pack assemblies for dog walking are disclosed herein. Such assebmlies can include, for example, an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion can include a first strap and a second strap. The lower portion can include a leash assembly having a slider and a leash clip configured to be detachably coupled to a dog leash. In some embodiments, the leash clip can slide along the slider.
Grip device to enable a number of operations associated with a portable electronic device based on attachment thereto
A method includes providing a main frame configured to be attached to a surface associated with a portable electronic device, and providing a flexible strap. The method also includes forming a grip device based on receiving slide elements of the flexible strap through a channel of the main frame, and enabling operations associated with the portable electronic device and support thereof on a flat surface through the attachment of the formed grip device to the portable electronic device.
A HARNESS
A man-worn power and data harness. The harness is intended to facilitate the supply of power and data around a user's, and in particular a soldier's, person. Furthermore, the harness is intended to be compatible with a tiered structure of soldier load carriage and protection. The harness may comprise: at least one brace for passing over a user's shoulder, each brace comprising at least one cable; and a belt for at least partially encircling a user's waist, the belt comprising at least one cable; wherein each cable comprises power and/or data cabling, each brace is connected at both ends to the belt and each brace comprises at least one release clip, the release clip being for disconnecting and reconnecting the brace; each brace may further comprise at least one attachment device to attach the brace to an item worn underneath the harness. Furthermore, a harness and load carriage may be provided. Methods for the use of such a harness in combination with a tiered structure for soldier load carriage and protection may also be provided.
PLATFORM FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A platform apparatus is provided which may be configured to support an electronic device. The platform apparatus may include a base, an extension, a support, and a lockable hinge. The extension may be adjustable and locked into a number of configurations. The platform apparatus may be configured for use by a standing, seated, or reclining user, or to support an electronic device in a free-standing configuration.
SUSPENSION DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE USING THE SAME
An electronic device with extendable strap and different communication modes depending on the state of the strap comprises a shell, at least one rotating mechanism, a strap, a sensor, and a processor. The shell defines at least one first receiving cavity, the rotating mechanism is received in the first receiving cavity. One end of the strap is wound on the at least one rotating mechanism. The rotating mechanism is able to rotate and store spring force under a driving of the strap. The sensor communicates with the processor to determine the state of the strap according to a rotation direction of the rotating mechanism and thus determine whether the strap is retracted to allow touch screen input by a user, or extended to switch to voice communication with the user.
Cell phone case and method of manufacturing the same by blending an additive with a polymer
A cell phone case including an additive for providing desired properties of the cell phone case. The additive can be a fragrance for improving a scent of the cell phone case. The additive can also include a antimicrobial agent to create an antimicrobial device effective in reducing or eliminating bacteria on a surface of the cell phone case.
Multi-Configuration Clamp System For Electronic Device
A support system which allows for the use and mounting of a smart phone, or similar electronic device, in a variety of ways. The support system may be adapted to function as a hand grip while supporting the smart phone during image acquisition, or while watching images on the smart phone. In another configuration, the support system may be adapted to attach to the user's belt. In another configuration, the support system may function as a support stand. In another configuration, the support system may be mounted on a tripod. The support system may include a kit of parts which allow for the modification of support accessories to allow for different configurations. The support system may include a removable shutter which may actuate the camera functions via wireless communication.
Armband for holding an electronic device
An armband that holds an electronic device is presented. The armband includes a pouch which includes a window and an opening configured to allow an electronic device to be inserted into the pouch. The armband also includes an arm strap wherein the proximate end of the arm strap is coupled to the pouch, and wherein the arm strap includes: holes arranged in a specified pattern; loop cells at specified locations along the length of the arm strap; and a hook cell located at a distal end of the arm strap. The armband further includes a ring coupled to the pouch configured to allow the distal end of the arm strap to be passed through the ring and pulled toward the proximate end of the arm strap so that the hook cell can be coupled to one or more loop cells.
Mounting system for portable electronic device
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for fabricating an electronic device with an integrated railing system that detachably couples mounting hardware to the electronic device. By selectively detaching the mounting hardware, the electronic device may be made more compact and portable. In some embodiments, the railing system is fabricated substantially contemporaneous to fabricating the electronic device, such as by extrusion of the railing and the electronic device together. This fabrication approach may reduce the overall cost and complexity of manufacturing the railing system.
