Apparatus for treating, purifying and/or extracting from wastewater
An efficient, cost-effective, and efficacious technique for removing coal ash and other pollutants from waterways, ponds, marshes, holding tanks and other water sources and supplies. An apparatus comprising an open cage including electromagnets and/or permanent magnets and/or electrodes is supplied with electrical power to extract materials such as rare earth elements and/or heavy metals. The materials levitate to the surface, forming a slurry while leaving water substantially free of such materials.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR TREATING, PURIFYING AND/OR EXTRACTING FROM WASTEWATER
The materials levitate to the surface, forming a shiny while leaving water substantially free of such materials.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING IRRIGATION WATER
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods and systems for treating irrigation water by introducing a propagating electromagnetic field into the irrigation water as it flows through an irrigation system. The treatments described herein may have a variety of beneficial effects on the water, including a significant increase in the percentage of the water that is maintained in the root zone of a given crop as plant-available water and the essential mineral, e.g. calcium and/or magnesium, uptake of that crop.
Electromagnetic fluid separation and combination
Electromagnetic processing of fluid materials is disclosed. Separation of one or more ionic components of a fluid, and combination of one or more ionic components in a fluid, are discussed.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FLUID SEPARATION AND COMBINATION
Electromagnetic processing of fluid materials is disclosed. Separation of one or more ionic components of a fluid, and combination of one or more ionic components in a fluid, are discussed.
ELECTROMAGNETIC FLUID TREATMENT APPARATUS
Embodiments described herein relate to apparatus and methods for treating bodies of fluid. In an embodiment an apparatus includes a first rod spacer comprising a first rod aperture. Such an apparatus may also include a second rod spacer comprising a second rod aperture, the first rod aperture and the second rod aperture being circumferentially aligned about a centerline axis. Further, the apparatus may include a conductive rod extending between the first rod spacer and the second rod spacer, a first portion of the conductive rod being engaged with the first rod aperture and a second portion of the conductive rod being engaged with the second rod aperture, the conductive rod being configured to generate a magnetic field in response to an electrical current applied to the conductive rod, wherein the conductive rod is submersible in a body of chlorinated fluid for treatment of the body of fluid with the magnetic field.
Method and system for applying superimposed time-varying frequency electromagnetic wave to water to effect various treatment functions
The invention relates to a method and system for treating water within a water system to control one or more of scaling, corrosion, bacteria and algae. In particular, the invention relates to methods and systems for applying a superimposed time-varying frequency electromagnetic wave comprising both AC and DC components in a pulsating manner to water within a water system, such as, for example, cooling water systems, cooling towers, boiler systems and water storage systems. The method and the system of the invention significantly reduce capital costs and require very low energy, they avoid environmentally unfriendly final products, and are able to result in various treatment effects simultaneously.
Method and system for applying superimposed time-varying frequency electromagnetic wave for marine ballast water bio-fouling control
The disclosure relates to a method and system for treating ballast water and ballast water treatment systems in order for treatment effects to be carried out, such as controlling the transportation of undesirable and invasive marine organisms. In particular, the disclosure relates to methods and systems for applying a superimposed time-varying frequency electromagnetic wave comprising both AC and DC components in a pulsating manner to ballast water within a ballast water treatment system.

System and method for using AC and DC sensors for water treatment
A system and method are disclosed for automatically operating a high voltage resonance circuit. An embodiment of the system includes one or more coils each coil can be an alternating current (AC) coil or a direct current (DC) coil. Ari embodiment of the system further includes a microprocessor that issues commands to control amplitude and frequency of pulses of the one or more coils to reach and maintain a resonant condition for water treatment. The microprocessor determines whether a coil is an AC coil or a DC coil by detecting whether a capacitor is connected in series with the coil. An embodiment of the system further includes one or more sensors that measure the quality of water and provide feedback to the microprocessor.
