Technologies for sanitizing humidifiers
09956309 · 2018-05-01 · ·

Technologies (e.g., devices, systems and methods) for sanitizing reservoirs of humidifiers are described. In some embodiments, the technologies include a sanitization gas system and a connector unit. The connector unit is configured to install into a portion (e.g., wall, bottom, top, or lid) of a reservoir, such as a reservoir of a humidifier. The connector unit includes an inlet passageway for supplying sanitizing gas (e.g., ozone) into the reservoir, and an outlet passageway for removing sanitizing gas from the reservoir. In some embodiments at least a portion of the outlet passageway is disposed radially around the inlet passageway. The sanitization gas system may provide a sanitizing gas to the inlet passageway and receive the sanitizing gas from the outlet passageway.

There is provided a dissolver tube to generate a pressure change to a fluid to change a physical property of the fluid, the tube comprising: a hollow tubular outer body; an inlet cap coupled to the body at an inlet thereof; an outlet cap coupled to the body at an outlet thereof; and a plurality of mesh screens arranged between the inlet cap and outlet cap, wherein each mesh screen has a plurality of micro-holes formed therethrough, each micro-hole having a Venturi structure, thereby to momentarily continuously contract, relax, and shear the fluid passing through the tube.

System and method for treating water systems with high voltage discharge and ozone

A system and method for treating flowing water systems with a plasma discharge to remove or control growth of microbiological species. Components of the water system are protected from being damaged by excess energy from the electrohydraulic treatment. Ozone gas generated by a high voltage generator that powers the plasma discharge is recycled to further treat the water. A gas infusion system may be used to create fine bubbles of ozone, air, or other gases in the water being treated to aid in plasma generation, particularly when the conductivity of the water is high. An electrode mounting assembly maintains a high voltage electrode and ground electrode at a fixed distance from each other to optimize plasma generation. An open support structure for the high voltage generator circuit physically separates spark gap electrodes and resists metal deposits that may disrupt discharge of a high voltage pulse to create the plasma.

Water Treatment Systems Using Ozone-Filled Nanobubbles
20250019280 · 2025-01-16 ·

Water treatment systems and methods are described herein for optimizing the formation and delivery of ozone-filled nanobubbles for disinfecting a volume of water. In an example system for treating water in a pool, such as a swimming pool, a control valve located downstream relative to a pool pump draws a select volume of water into through a circuit of elements including a pump assembly, a Venturi assembly for injecting a supply of ozone-rich gas into the water, a pressure vessel, and a nozzle assembly for generating a variable concentration of ozone-filled nanobubbles in the water. The ozone-filled nanobubbles in the pool water are stable, safe and odorless, and far more effective than chlorine or ozone alone. With the ozone-filled nanobubbles in the water column, the measurable concentration of dissolved ozone in the water is remarkably steady under a variety of operating conditions.

WATER CONTAINING PERMANGANATE IONS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

An object of the present invention is to provide a water containing permanganate ions that exist stably over a long period of time and a method for producing the water. A water containing permanganate ions of the present invention as a means for resolution is produced by dissolving 0.1 M to 1 mM of a divalent manganese compound, 0.1 M to 1 mM of an organic iron compound, and 1 to 300 mM of an inorganic salt in a water with ozone-microbubbles generated using an ozone gas at a concentration of 1 to 300 g/Nm.sup.3. The half-life of permanganate ions of the water containing permanganate ions of the present invention is 3 months or longer, for example, when the water filled in an airtight container under atmospheric pressure is stored under a temperature condition of 40 C., and has significantly different properties from a water containing permanganate ions that is produced by dissolving a permanganate compound in water, although the two waters share a common point of containing permanganate ions.
