The sterilized water generator includes a water inlet pipe through which water flows in; a water outlet pipe through which sterilized water flows out; a plurality of electrolysis modules arranged in parallel between the water inlet pipe and the water outlet pipe and configured to turn the water brought in through the water inlet pipe to the sterilized water; and a controller configured to control a forward voltage not to be applied to a first electrolysis module of the plurality of electrolysis modules, control the forward voltage to be applied to a second electrolysis module of the plurality of electrolysis modules, and change electrolysis modules corresponding to the first and second electrolysis modules of the plurality of electrolysis modules based on a lapse of time.
System for controlling water used for industrial food processing
A sensor control system of a food processing system includes a logic processor operatively coupled to an electrode. The logic processor is configured to receive a sensor signal from the electrode, the electrode configured to collect the sensor signal from water used within the food processing system, process the sensor signal to determine a chemical measurement of the water, and generate an electrochemical cleaning control signal for the electrode to interact with the water to electrochemically clean the electrode based upon a user input signal.
ULTRAVIOLET LAMP OUTPUT MODULATION
An embodiment provides method for controlling lamp output within an array of lamps, including: receiving sensor data corresponding to one of a plurality of lamps within the array, wherein the sensor data comprises an irradiance value from at least one of: within a lamp sleeve and an irradiance value from outside a lamp sleeve; identifying, based the sensor data, a change in an output of the one of the plurality of lamps; sharing the sensor data with other of the plurality of lamps within the array; and adjusting, in response to the sharing, an output of at least one of the other of the plurality of lamps within the array, thereby compensating for the change in the output of one of the plurality of lamps. Other aspects are described and claimed.
Fluid flow control for water treatment systems
Disclosed are devices, systems and methods for operation and control of gravity-fed fluid flows in water and wastewater related systems. The disclosed flow control system uses gravity to provide a flow of a fluid from a fluid source and a motorized flow control device fluidically coupled to the fluid source to control a defined flow rate of the flow by changing a position of an internal volume of the flow control device through which the fluid flows relative to a fixed level of the fluid in the fluid source. The disclosed devices, systems and methods can be used in a wide variety of systems for environmental and low-energy demand applications such as, for example, a wastewater treatment system to control a flow of wastewater in the system.
Water purification system
A method and system for water purification includes a particle accelerator configured to generate a particle beam and a conduit configured to be substantially in line with the particle beam wherein said electron beam is incident on a fluid flowing through the conduit. The electron beam can be oriented to be substantially head on to the direction of flow of the fluid in the conduit. A shielding assembly can be configured around the conduit. A cartridge filtering system and contaminant filtering system can be provided to remove additional contaminants.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
An improved bio-electrochemical wastewater treatment process and system (1) is disclosed. An electrode assembly (4) is defined by interconnecting a set of electrode modules (5). Each electrode module (5) has a first electrode of an anode-cathode pair coated with electrogenic microbes adapted to generate electrons via the consumption of organic matter in wastewater. An electrode module (5) has a second electrode of the anode-cathode pair, and a body, supporting and separating the first and second electrodes. Each electrode module (5) also comprises an interface for physically connecting the module with at least one other of the set.
SOIL ENRICHMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Various embodiments of the present technology provide methods and systems for soil enrichment. The systems may comprise a bioreactor system coupled to an initial treatment system for the cultivation of a live microorganism culture containing organic nutrients on an agriculturally effective scale. The systems may be automated and/or portable for practical applications onto target fields. The live microorganism culture may be delivered onto the soil of the target fields, enriching the soil with the organic nutrients that become bioavailable to crops growing in the soil. The soil enrichment system may provide a sustainable approach to agriculture that may efficiently enhance the natural processes of the native soil of any crop.
A method for predicting operation effectiveness of decentralized sewage treatment facility by using support vector machine
A method for predicting operation effectiveness of a decentralized sewage treatment facility by using a support vector machine, comprising: simultaneously collecting an influent conductivity and an effluent conductivity, and recording operation effectiveness of the decentralized sewage treatment facility; training a training set by using the support vector machine, with the influent conductivity and effluent conductivity as input and the operation effectiveness of decentralized sewage treatment facilities as output, so as to construct a prediction model for the operation effectiveness of decentralized sewage treatment facilities; and collecting the influent conductivity and effluent conductivity of the treatment facilities to be predicted, and inputting them into the prediction model to obtain a predictive result. The method is not only highly accurate, but fast and inexpensive.
FILTER SYSTEM WITH ENHANCED DISPLAY
A water filter system that includes a base that receives water from a faucet, where the base includes a bottom support and a vertical support transversely extending from the bottom support. The vertical support includes a visual light display having visual indicators that indicate different parameters of the filter system. A filter cartridge is seated in the base, and defines a first chamber having at least one filter element, and a second chamber in fluid communication with the first chamber. An enhancement cartridge is removably inserted in the second chamber of the filter cartridge and includes an enhancement material for adding minerals to the water. A cover having an opening is configured to slidingly engage the vertical support of the base so that the visual light display is positioned within the opening of the cover and visible to a user.
Remote water softener monitoring system
A device for monitoring the level or amount of a material within a container is provided. The device includes a detection mechanism that can be a direct detection mechanism or an indirect detection mechanism. When the detection mechanism senses an upper level of the substance in the container that is below a predetermined lower limit for the substance, the mechanism operates an alarm mechanism to emit an alarm to alert an individual to the low level of the substance within the container. The alarm can wirelessly communicate a salt level state to a wireless network or a device on a wireless network that can transmit the status through the Internet to any remote location. In one aspect, the alarm can be sent on a mesh network with a device that can transmit the status and other conditions through the Internet and to an application executing on a mobile device.
