The protective case may further include a non-slip member to prevent the device from slipping on a surface and a magnet for attaching the device to a magnetic surface.
Support for multimedia tablet or equivalent
A support for a multimedia tablet, a screen and an optical member, the support comprising a bearing portion configured to interact with the tablet, the bearing portion extending in a first direction and in a second direction transverse to the first direction, the bearing portion comprising a base configured to be mounted on a mounting surface, an optical reflector element configured to be arranged facing the optical member, and a support portion configured for supporting the tablet, the reflector element and the support portion being carried by the bearing surface such that, considered in the first direction, the support portion is arranged between the base and the reflector element, the support portion being movable in the first direction, and the reflector element being movable in the second direction.
TABLET COMPUTER STAND WITH NEAR FIELD COUPLING ENHANCEMENT
A tablet stand is disclosed which incorporates a near field antenna configuration which couples to a near field antenna in the back of a tablet and provides a near field antenna coupling region for near field communication at the front of the tablet. The stand may be completely passive and use conductive antenna elements and passive resonance matching circuit elements to provide efficient coupling. In another aspect a thin profile passive keyboard adapted for use with a near field enabled tablet is provided. In another aspect a mounting bracket or holder, embedded antenna, and passive keyboard combination is provided adapted for converting a tablet into a notebook type configuration.
WEARABLE HOLDER FOR SECURING A SMART WATCH
A versatile smart device holder that secures the device to a user while offering enhanced protection during physical activity as compared to conventional device bands and holders. The device holder is suitable to wear in a number of locations, such as across the bicep, the forearm, leg, ankle, or the wrist. The device holder comprises a band made of flexible material and a frame permanently or removably embedded within or attached to the band that is capable of securely holding the electronic device in place.
MOBILE ACCESSORY GRIP WITH MAGNETIC LOCKING FEATURE
An expandable device includes a base having top and bottom sides, an expanding mechanism operably coupled to the base, a button operably coupled to the expanding mechanism, and first and second magnetic members operably coupled to the base and the button, respectively. The expanding mechanism is selectively movable between a first configuration where the button is disposed in a first, collapsed configuration and a second configuration where the button is disposed in a second, expanded configuration. In the first, collapsed configuration, the first magnetic member engages the second magnetic member to retain the button in the collapsed configuration.
Apparatus for different sized mobile devices that perform image capture
An apparatus is provided. The apparatus has a first member, a second member, and a third member. The third member couples the first member and the second member such that the second member is parallel to the first member, the third member is perpendicular to the first member and the second member, and the third member is in between the first member and the second member. Further, the apparatus has at least one slot integrated within a rear portion of the third member. In addition, the apparatus has an adjustable member positioned on a front portion of the third member that adheres a mobile computing device to the front portion of the third member. The adjustable member is adjusted within the at least one slot.
HOLDING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USING SAME FOR USE WITH PORTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A holding apparatus and method may be used to secure and support a portable electronic device. The apparatus has a base plate that fits along the back surface of a portable electronic device. The base plate has top and bottom base plate surfaces. The apparatus has a strip that fits along the top base plate surface. The apparatus has a frame on the top base plate surface. The frame defines an aperture. The apparatus has pins and recesses that form hinged connections and secure the strip to the base plate. The strip is moveable between engaged and disengaged positions within the aperture.
Pouch with viewing windows and access openings
A tethered pouch adapted to carry an device, tool or equipment, has a shell with a proximal opening that leads to an interior pocket, wherein the shell is constructed of a first material and a second material where the second material may be configured as a viewing window and the shell has at least one access opening configured to receive a digit of a user's hand for contacting and operating the item, such as a mobile phone.
Apparatuses and methods for ergonomically holding handheld electronics
Apparatuses and methods of the present invention improve the ease of use characteristics of handheld computer, such as a tablet, by providing a handheld apparatus that may be married with the computer to enable the computer to be held in an ergonomic position for use. The apparatus may include a base, an electronic retaining portion (ERP) and a contoured handle having a gripping plane that is substantially parallel to a tablet retention plane of the electronic retaining portion in which the computer is retained with its screen in the tablet retention plane. In various embodiments, the apparatus may include the ERP having a tablet retention plane and a contoured handle cooperating with the ERP, the contoured handle having a shape defining a gripping plane substantially parallel to the tablet retention plane, where the ERP is rotatable relative to the handle. The apparatus may be further configured to provide an office and “on-the-go” experience by cooperating with a functionality expandability station that provides access to multiple peripherals such as a keyboard, multi-monitors, USB ports, speakers ports, batteries or other energy sources and re-chargeability of an on-the-go handheld power source, thereby enabling a desktop/laptop main computer experience.
