A strap is coupled to the case and configured for fitting around an appendage of a user and allowing the user to support the case relative to the appendage. A support stand is coupled to the case independently of the strap and includes a portion that is swivelable away from the case and is configured, when swiveled away from the case, for supporting the case on an external surface in an angled arrangement relative to the external surface. Optionally, the base is positioned on a back plane of the case, and a rotational mechanism is coupled between the base and the case such that the case is rotatable relative to the base.

A case for a portable electronic device (PED) is disclosed. The case includes a body having an interior surface configured to accept a PED and an exterior surface to be exposed to outside forces. A back vent that permits the transfer heat away from the PED and to the environment presents through the body of the case. A cushioning member is placed at or near the back vent on the interior surface of the case and may substantially or completely surround the back vent. When a PED is placed within the case, the fit of the PED and the case causes the cushioning member to press against the PED in order to create a cushion for the PED in the event of an outside force being applied to the case. The case may include a screen protector within a frame that attaches to the body.

Tablet computer stand with near field coupling enhancement

In another aspect a thin profile passive keyboard adapted for use with a near field enabled tablet is provided. In another aspect a mounting bracket or holder, embedded antenna, and passive keyboard combination is provided adapted for converting a tablet into a notebook type configuration.

In some examples, a backpack may comprise a spindle coupled to a set of straps and a load, a distance sensor, an actuator coupled to the spindle, an angle sensor, and an angle adjuster coupled to the load. The actuator may actuate in response to a first signal from the distance sensor to adjust a length of the set of straps. The angle adjuster may activate in response to a second signal from the angle sensor.

The pocket is sleeve like and is defined by four walls, a stirrup webbing on the bottom, and an elastic restraining cord on top, thus forming a six-element restraining system for dampening device movement. The tongue forms a stirrup pendent from the front wall that is looped below the pocket and brought up inside the pocket, where it reversibly and adjustable attaches inside the back wall. The elastic cord is fastened superiorly on the back wall and is secured to the front wall near the top lip with a snap or clasp so that the device is immobilized while permitting access to device controls. The upper lips of the side walls are angulated so as to form a guide slot or rails for self-centering and guiding the device into the stirrup. The holster may be integrated into complex wearable combinations that are comfortable, durable and multifunctional.

The wearable wafer turn clip may have a mounting portion that is a channel between the body ring and at least a portion of the inner section. The mounting portion may accept the article and guide it along an arcuate path inwardly and into a deflection channel. The deflection channel may be disposed at an inward terminus of the mount acceptance channel and extend radially outward from the mount acceptance channel.
