CLOSED REARING METHOD AND CLOSED REARING APPARATUS

Provided are a closed rearing method and a closed rearing apparatus which can decompose and remove ammonia contained in rearing water without supplying an excessive amount of ozone and can also suppress generation of toxic oxidants. In a closed rearing method for aquatic organisms and marine animals involving an ozone treatment for decomposing ammonia in rearing water by supplying a gas containing ozone into the rearing water, the closed rearing method is characterized in that aquaculture is performed in a closed environment by a first step for determining the ozone concentration of the gas and pH conditions of the rearing water suitable for reducing the amount of generation of toxic oxidants by previously treating the rearing water to reduce ammonia contained therein to the target value by using an apparatus for actually conducting the treatment and a second step for conducting an ozone treatment of the rearing water according to the suitable ozone concentration and pH conditions determined in the first step.

REGULATING METHOD AND REGULATING DEVICE FOR WATER TREATMENT

Method for controlling a water treatment installation having a supply, an ozonisation stage, a transfer stage, a biological filter and a discharge having the following steps: measuring a first parameter set in the supply, wherein, a measurement for a first concentration of micro-contaminations and/or a nitrite concentration is determined; controlling the ozonisation stage in such a manner that an ozone supply is carried out in a preselected ratio to the measured first parameter set; measuring a second parameter set in the transfer stage, wherein, a measurement for a second concentration of micro-contaminations is determined; controlling the ozonisation; measuring a third parameter set in the discharge, wherein, with reference to the third parameter set, a measurement of a third concentration of micro-contaminations is determined; if the measurement for the concentration of micro-contaminations exceeds a predetermined maximum value in the discharge, increasing the ozone supply.

PORTABLE WATER PURIFIER

A hand portable water purification system including: a cold plasma ozone generator having two spaced apart parallel electrodes for generating ozone; a Venturi injector providing partially ozonated contaminated water; a first and a second reactor tank, each tank in fluid communication with the Venturi injector and the cold plasma generator, wherein the first reactor tank fills with partially ozonated contaminated water provided by the injector, and while being filled, is further ozonated until purified water is obtained and concurrently previously purified water is emptied from the second reactor tank; a low wattage power source for providing power to the system; and a microprocessor/controller for controlling in real time the amount of ozone produced by the generator and for controlling a series of valves. The valves are opened and closed according to a predefined sequence. A method for use of the portable water purification system is also provided herein.

WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD

A water treatment system includes: an aeration tank for converting wastewater containing organic substances into sludge-laden treated water by aerobic treatment; an ozone supply unit for feeding ozone into the sludge-laden treated water drawn out from the aeration tank; and a bubble detector for detecting the condition of bubbles produced by reaction between the fed ozone and the sludge. The ozone treatment is controlled by utilizing as an indicator for sludge volume reduction effect the increase rate of bubbles detected by the bubble detector, so that the water treatment system is able to vary the amount of ozone feed depending on the conditions of water treatment.

Wash water processing apparatus and sterilization and water-purification apparatus, and wash water processing method

A wash water processing apparatus (12), a sterilization and water-purification apparatus, and a cleaning method include a control apparatus (16) formed of a storage part (16b) having stored therein an arithmetic expression capable of finding a discharge amount of processed water and a supply amount of pure water in accordance with an ozone concentration and a TOC concentration of processed water and a control part (16a) which controls the ozone supply part and TOC adjustment device (22). Supply of pure water to processed water of processed water, or discharge of processed water and supply of pure water is performed by the TOC concentration adjustment device in accordance with a result found from the arithmetic expression to reduce the TOC concentration of wash water for use in a washing processing part (11) to a value equal to or smaller than a predetermined value.

Pressure-less ozonated di-water (DIO3) recirculation reclaim system

The invention provides, in one aspect, a system for recirculating ozonated liquid. The system includes a contactor including at least two inlets and at least two outlets. The contactor is in fluid communication with a first liquid source at a first contactor inlet and a second liquid source at a second contactor inlet, and the second contactor inlet receives gas that purges at least a portion of gas from liquid received at the first contactor inlet.
