Portable multi-step apparatus and method for producing potable water
A portable, multi-step apparatus and method for producing potable water in remote locations.
MULTIFUNCTION BYPASS DISPENSING SYSTEM
A multifunction dispenser system for the treatment of water systems is disclosed. The described invention includes the use of a multifunction bypass type dispenser system with integrated isolation valves, modifications to produce bypass flows proportional water flow rate, and a self-metering replaceable chemical cartridge.
PORTABLE MEMBRANE FILTRATION
A portable filtration system is described. The system may comprise: a mixing portion, comprising: a pump adaptor and a contaminant regulator. The pump adaptor may comprise: an upper plate, a lower plate, and a screen. The screen may axially extend between the upper and lower plates, wherein the upper plate, the lower plate, and the screen define a channel of a mixing chamber. The contaminant regulator may comprise a through-passage coupled to the upper plate, wherein the through-passage is in fluid communication with the mixing chamber.
SELF-PURGING WATER PRESSURE REGULATOR AND REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM HAVING A SELF-PURGING WATER PRESSURE REGULATOR
A self-purging water pressure regulator and system using same is disclosed. The self-purging water pressure regulator includes a housing assembly and a chamber within the housing assembly. The housing assembly has a housing assembly inlet and a housing assembly outlet. Within the housing assembly are a plunger and a piston, each having and open position and a closed position. A biasing element within the housing assembly exerts a force on the plunger that biases the plunger and piston into the closed position. The plunger and piston are in the open position if water exerts a second force on the piston that exceeds the force. The housing assembly further includes a bypass channel. The bypass channel provides fluid communication between the housing assembly inlet and the housing assembly outlet. The bypass channel allows air to continuously escape even in the closed position.
Apparatus for filtering and/or conditioning and/or purifying a fluid such as water
An apparatus for filtering water has a valve head and a filtration/purification canister removably mountable thereon. Connecting the canister to the valve head automatically opens a check valve in the valve head to permit water to flow from the valve head into and through the canister, and then back to and through the valve head to an outlet port. Disconnecting the canister from the valve head automatically closes the check valve, stopping the flow of water. A bypass valve is provided in the valve head to permit a sanitizing solution to flow through the valve head and along the lines of the water distribution system to sanitize the system, while bypassing the canister. The outlet port may be directly connected to an appliance that uses water, to eliminate possible contamination that may occur when water is brought indirectly from the outlet port to the appliance instead.
Water dispensing device for dispensing water having consistent taste
The water dispensing device of the present invention with the given flow path of water and the control circuit configured store at least two threshold TDS values X.sub.A and X.sub.B, wherein X.sub.A is a higher TDS value than X.sub.B; and to drain water from the treatment unit through the drain line, when TDS value sensed is higher than X.sub.A, and alternately when the sensed value of TDS is less than X.sub.B then direct water from the reject line into the first recycle line; it was seen that the TDS of the output water of the device was in a constant range and the device of the present invention also contributed to minimizing the wastage of water by allowing recycling of water through the reject line of the treatment unit.
MULTICOLUMN FILTRATION SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING INDUSTRIAL WASTEWATER
Disclosed herein is a multicolumn filtration assembly for processing industrial wastewater. The multicolumn filtration assembly comprises: (i) a water inlet tee element interconnected with a bypass line and a water outlet manifold; (ii) a valve interposed the water inlet tee element and the bypass line; (iii) a water inlet manifold interconnected with the bypass line; and (iii) a plurality of water filtration columns interposed the water inlet manifold and the water outlet manifold wherein each of the plurality of water filtration columns has a first valve for controlling water inflow from the water inlet manifold and a second valve for controlling water outflow into the water outlet manifold. Also disclosed are multistage multicolumn fluid filtration systems and fluid treatment systems comprising multicolumn filtration assemblies.
Water filter with water enrichment
The present invention describes a water filter apparatus (100, 100a) with integrated nutrient enrichment and/or enhancement. Desired nutrients, ions, hydrogen ions, ceramic, stones, metal etc. packed in granules or balls are selectively disposed inside a stick capsule (160), shell capsule (180) or hydrogen capsule (190). One or two stick capsules (160) are located inside a filter element (150). The stick capsule has a tapered end (162) and in association with T-shaped posts (157) formed on an inside of a cap (151) of the filter element, dynamic flow of water along the tapered end (162) induces nutrient-rich water to flow through perforations (165) at the end of the stick capsule (160), mixes/blends the two streams of water before water is discharged through a faucet (144). The filtered water is also enhanced by treating the water through flavor treatment, anti-bacterial, anti-chlorine, activated carbon and so on.
Ammonia control in a recirculating aquaculture system
Selected freshwater or saltwater aquaculture systems are processed for the automatic removal of waste, ammonia, and pathogens while controlling temperature, oxygen, and feed amounts for obtaining maximum growth and survival at maximum aquatic species densities. A core platform treatment technology removes ammonia by combining chlorine with the ammonia to form chloramines, which are removed by catalytic activated carbon at a downstream filter station. Processing also removes potential pathogens by sterilizing and electrifying the water. The technology utilizes ammonia, chlorine, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), and flow sensors to electronically adjust the amount of chlorine needed to remove the existing ammonia. A control system utilizes temperature, dissolved oxygen, and image processing sensors to optimize heating, cooling, feeding, and aeration.
DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH BYPASS
A chemical injection system connects a main water flow to a source of chemicals to a bypass chemical dispenser in a water treatment system. The chemical injection system includes a supply pipe, a return pipe having a bypass chemical dispenser located along a length thereof, and a controlled pumping system including a compounding-rate pump controller connected to a pumping loop.
