RESISTIVITY VALUE REGULATING DEVICE AND RESISTIVITY VALUE REGULATING METHOD
A resistivity regulating apparatus includes: a gas dissolving device that causes a regulating gas to dissolve in a liquid targeted for resistivity regulation to generate a treated liquid in which the regulating gas is dissolved in the liquid, the regulating gas being used to regulate a resistivity of the liquid; and a buffer tank to which the treated liquid discharged from the gas dissolving device is fed.
WHOLE HOME WATER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A valve for a water system including a water supply conduit, the valve having a valve housing that defines a valve inlet and valve outlet. The valve inlet is connected to the water conduit and at least one piston is disposed within the valve housing and is configured to direct flow within the valve. A motor associated with the valve housing is operably attached to the piston and is further configured for driving the piston between a service position, a bypass position, and a shutoff position. The valve further includes at least one sensor associated with the valve inlet or valve outlet for monitoring a water condition. A control system receives data from the at least one sensor and is configured for actuating the motor between the service position, the bypass position, and the shutoff position in response to the data.
WATER PURIFYING APPARATUS AND REFRIGERATOR INCLUDING THE SAME
Provided are a water purifying apparatus and a refrigerator including the same. The water purifying apparatus includes a filter configured to purify incoming water and discharge the purified water, a head in which the filter is detachably coupled and a water inlet portion and a water outlet portion are formed, and a shaft provided inside the head and rotatably mounted between the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion, the shaft being provided with a bypass flow path directly connecting the water inlet portion and the water outlet portion and a filtering flow path connected so that water flowing in through the water inlet portion is discharged to the water outlet portion via the filter.
LIQUID DISPENSER
A dispenser includes a water supply flow path to guide water supplied from a water supply source toward a filter; an auxiliary flow path to branch off at the first point of the water supply flow path and then to merge into a second point located downstream of the first point; a flow switching valve installed at the first point to control a flow from the water supply flow path to the auxiliary flow path; a water ejection nozzle through which filtered is ejected; a hot water module forming a heating flow path and configured to heat the purified water into hot water; a hot water flow path configured to guide the hot water passing through the hot water module toward the water ejection nozzle; and a controller to control the flow switching valve and the hot water module.
MODULE CARRIER FOR USE IN A SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AND TREATING FLUID MEDIA
Module carrier for receiving a module having a fluid connection for use in a system for water treatment or water monitoring, wherein the module carrier can be reversibly connected to at least one further module carrier to form a module carrier assembly, wherein the module carriers can be connected to one another mechanically and detached from one another, wherein, during the mechanical separation or connection of the module carriers, at least one hydraulic connection between the module carriers can likewise be separated or connected.
ON-DEMAND WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM
A water treatment system centrally communicates and controls one or more water treatment devices to regulate the use of the one or more water treatment devices. The water treatment system is configured to enable a localized, on-demand supply of purified water throughout a building or a network of buildings. The water treatment system may control a degree of purity (e.g., water hardness or concentration of dissolved salts) via mixing of purified and unpurified water streams in a controllable ratio (e.g., via one or more controllable valves or one or more tunable water softening units).
HOT AND COLD WATER DISPENSER WITH FILTER FOR WEEKDAY AND SABBATH AND METHOD
A water filter device for filtering water for supply, consists of an outer housing, a general water inlet through the housing, a mechanical filter within the housing, a carbon filter within the housing and a general water outlet through the housing, the filter device providing a flow path from the general water inlet, through the mechanical filter and the carbon filter to the general water outlet. The water filter device further includes a secondary water inlet through the housing between the mechanical filter and the carbon filter, to provide a second flow path from the secondary water inlet through the carbon filter to the general water outlet, the second flow path thus bypassing the mechanical filter.
SLUDGE DRYING SYSTEM
Disclosed herein is a sludge drying system comprising: a system input for receiving a wet sludge stream, wherein the wet sludge stream comprises water and solid material; a first dryer arranged to receive, at an input of the first dryer, the wet sludge stream and to heat the wet sludge stream such that at least part of the water in the wet sludge stream is evaporated to thereby generate evaporate and a partially dry sludge stream, wherein the first dryer is an indirectly heated rotating disc dryer that comprises a first output for outputting evaporate and a second output for outputting the partially dry sludge stream; a second dryer that is an indirectly heated rotating disc dryer and is arranged to receive, at a first input of the second dryer, a stream that is dependent on the partially dry sludge stream output from the first dryer and to receive, at a second input of the second dryer, the evaporate from the first dryer, wherein the second dryer is arranged to use to the received evaporate to indirectly heat the received stream at the first input to thereby generate and output a substantially dry sludge stream; and a system output for outputting at least part of the substantially dry sludge stream from the system.
NEAR-ZERO MAINTENANCE MEMBRANE-BASED INTEGRATED PURIFICATION DEVICE FOR DRINKING WATER SUPPLY OF VILLAGES AND TOWNS AND A METHOD FOR TREATING SOURCE WATER THEREOF
A near-zero maintenance integrated purification device for drinking water supply of villages and towns and a method for treating source water using this device are provided to solve the multi-pollution problems caused by microorganisms, turbidity, iron, manganese, taste and odor, and organic matter in the drinking water sources of villages and towns. The device includes a small-spacing folding plate speed sink regulating water tank, a small diameter tube reactor, a granular active carbon (GAC) slow-speed filter tank, a gravity-driven ultrafiltration membrane tank and an ipsilateral U-turn corridor clean water tank.
